Thanks for the reply, I cannot find any information on it - not even a video or instructions on changing the bioweapon filters. I just put in a service request to install the Bioweapon retrofit in my MY LR. No reply yet I'll keep everyone informed on the outcome.

To any of the MY owners that have the Bioweapon Defense HVAC do you still have filters inside the cabin by the evaporator coil or are they only outside in the frunk area?

I contacted Tesla via chat. Was told that currently there is no retrofit for the HVAC but she said she heard there is one coming soon. She recommended I contact service through my app and schedule an appointment for it. They would have a better answer for me. I have not done that yet.

Has anyone upgraded from the normal HVAC to the Bioweapon style in a 2021 MYLR? Thinking it is a filter housing swap and maybe a little program change.

Found this YouTube video about removing some of the clips to aid in the removal and reinstallation of the cover. I was worried about wind or car washes knocking the altered cover off but so far I have had no issues. I also read a replacement cover is pretty cheap so no big deal to replace.

Look for someone that does a paint-less dent removal for the hood and tail gate. It would be a lot cheaper than replacement of the hood. I’ve had this done on my Grand Cherokee. The door ding disappeared and it cost me $50.
