Actually 2021 Plaids are better made and built than the later models. At least in my experience. So get a 2021 at a cheaper price and be happy.

I got this Secret EV yoke replacement steering wheel for my 2021 Plaid. The car and wheel have been phenomenal ever since.

Does it matter if you should or shouldn’t have accepted the car at this point? You got it, there’s mostly cosmetic and fixable issues, like most cars. But isn’t it 95% amazing. Get those items taken care of and enjoy “The Thrill of the Ride”.

I actually really like my Plaids interior. Me thinks you should have ordered the carbon fiber interior package originally like I did. But, it is fun to customize your vehicle to your own taste. Enjoy the experience! BTW, I went with this after market steering wheel from Secret EV.

I had the guys at “The Driveway” in San Jose install my lowering links and rear camber arms and align the car. They know their stuff so let them give you their Input. I too went with a 3/4 to 1 inch drop.

6’2” and still can see the IC just fine. And one can always slouch a little to get a good view.

No real issue for me.

2021 June built Plaid 5000 miles. Other than minor seat wrinkles in typical location it’s been flawless. Knock on wood.

If I was to buy my exact Plaid today, (MSM, Arachnids, Cream, Carbon Fiber) it would be $21,100 cheaper and have all the upgrades since I purchased it in July, 2021. So far they have stayed perfectly attached and done their job. And I like the low profile.

2 years 5000 miles. Minor seat wrinkles, left side repeater camera loose, everything else ideal. Would I do it again? Absolutely, but it’s been done so does it even matter? I’ll make the best of what I’ve got. Tri-motors are really fun.

Beautiful wheels. Design, finish, etc. 22’s look a little too big for this car, however.

I would definitely go for it, if it’s been properly cared for. The tail lights, rear screen, etc are not an issue. White on black is always a winner. You might ask the owner if there’s been any issues with vibration however.

Look at the installation video. Seems legitimate to me. Try to focus on the installation and not who’s doing it.😉
