Quick update. I was previously on 2021.36.8.8 bumped off to 2021.40.6. Now that the holiday update is here, I am sad to report that I am on the main branch with 2021.44.25.2. Oof, so I wonder how they manage fsd releases. It might not be VIN based but by version and rollout batches.

I think "FSD" still expects a human driver to take over at any time, so driverless may not apply to the system yet.

I believe mine had around ~15 miles as mine was direct delivered from the Fremont factory.

I just took delivery. You could consider this part of the EOQ push. It was nearly flawless minus a few minor things like debris, adhesive, and missing trunk pieces that others are also experiencing. My write up in another thread linked below

Hi LR waiting room buddies, my seven month waiting journey (Feb-Sept) is now officially over. My EDD change log was roughly: March -> Late March -> Blank (for months until the update email about a month ago) -> Sept 15-30 -> Sept 2-15 -> Sept 12-30 -> Sept 9 As soon as a VIN was assigned...

VIN assigned! 5YJSA1E54MF441xxx EDD tightened to Sept 8-21. Roughly 5 days since the date slipped to Sept 13-30.

Unfortunately my EDD slipped from Sept 2-15 to Sept Sept 13 - Sept 30 a few days ago. No VIN yet still.

Today my EDD range tightened from Sept 11-30, which has been holding steady for two weeks, to Sept 2-12. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel in this 7 month journey for me!

Hi fellow LR waiters, My first update since March 2021 when my delivery date went blank. Ordered 2/21, Fremont pick up, S LR, MSM, 19", no FSD EDD: September 15-30

Added and removed FSD. I was silly and made a rash decision to add FSD, when I could wait until after the fact and get some credit card points.

Update: I made a change to my order to see what would happen. My order agreement date is now 6/20/21 RN:1145x, originally ordered 2/13/21 I'll be a guinea pig and see if that really affects the order or not.

Unfortunately, no one knows since no LRs have been delivered and reviewed yet. I have heard from the recent Dave Lee / Emmet interview that the refreshed S still handles like a sedan.

With all of these changes, I would not be surprised if somehow LR and Plaid deliveries get mixed up. Plaids going to LR and LRs to Plaid. Maybe a few Plaid+'s and Roadsters thrown in for good measure.

That does line up with the flyovers -- most of the cars we've been seeing looked like LR because there were no red calipers.

Likely different servers you're connecting to have different versions cached and the dark hubcaps are slowly being propagated to them all.

Just like how all of the M3 and MY deliveries went post-radar removal? Folks got information pretty much the day of the announcement that they can schedule a pick up. I'm bullish that something similar will happen the day or day before the delivery event.

Why would they continue the production line if they noticed a production-halt worthy issue? My guess is Elon wants to personally test the limbic resonance of the first production lot and give them a Elon seal-of-approval sticker.

Not too out of the ordinary it seems. M3 and MY VINs and deliveries didn’t begin until the Tesla Vision (radarless) announcement. We’re not the only ones being fed drips!

On second thought, the blue MS in front doesn't have red break calipers so it might not be limited to Plaid? In either case, it looks like body-matching handles is on the table.

Looking at the other inventory video from the same uploader reveals something interesting. I see color-matched handles for the blue MS and black handles on the MSM in this screen cap. I wonder if LR variants get black handles and Plaid get color-matched handles?

I agree with the folks from a couple pages ago... this is the most entertainment I've gotten for $100. The whole spectrum of emotions... excitement, anxious, anger, bliss, disappointment. At this point, it's sunk cost and I'm ready to go through the wringer again next week! 🤪

New update for me, no VIN spotted

I picked Fremont when I first put in a reservation. So the fact that it matched up means it was pulling data from my order -- or all dummy data is set to Fremont, but my bet is on the former.
