Car has been in the shop for 6 days now. Got constant updates the first few days but now they’ve gone dark on me the last three days. Is that normal? Calling the SC goes straight to voicemail.

Yeah I was starting to get some buyers remorse. $60k is a good amount of money to spend on a car and it didn’t function properly.

I just bought a 2016 MX off Carvana and the original 4 year warranty is up. Am I able to still get extended warranty from Tesla? Or is there a reliable 3rd party?

Update: just got back from the SC and they are going to repair the steering wheel, upgrade the MCU, and fix the AC. They gave me a loaner but not a Tesla :/ but hey, at least they’re working on it. They said best case scenario it will be done tomorrow, worst case early next week.

Resolved frozen screen issue by unplugging the battery for about 5 minutes. Also, Tesla SC made an exception and will take a look at my steering wheel issues today while my I wait for my registration.

Unfortunately my scroll wheels also aren’t functioning so rebooting that way isn’t an option. Any chance pulling a fuse can make things worse?

It’s frozen in the fireplace mode. Hvac works and I’m actually able to adjust heat seats, volume by approximately button pushing, I just can’t see them because the frozen fireplace video is over it. Steering wheel buttons don’t work.

Where’s the fuse?

Will I lose any settings I had previously?

Know of a good resource tutorial that I can follow?

Just bought a used 2017 Model X. Everything was fine for a couple days until the screen froze up. Tried rebooting with the scroll wheels but those no longer work as well and the horn stopped working. To make it worse, since its still in the process of being registered in my name which DMV says...
