Yeah, I've almost placed my order about 30 times. I sort of want to wait to at least see what the ev credit details will look like. Passing up on the possibility of $10k just seems so stupid.
Speaker of the House again today said goal is to have the bill passed by August, maybe even around the 4th of July. Hopefully we see the details by the end of this month.
I use to day trade. I manage my own retirement, and I can still tell you this is insane. Do you know how many people in the US actually own stocks? If you remove owning any sort of investments due to a 401k, the number is astonishingly low.

I believe the goal was to have it passed before the Aug recess. I think the key though, for those of us wanting to order, is to at least see the final details that are going into the plan. If they're retroactive or not, etc.

My X5 is paid off in April. I've just decided to play it by ear. If nothing seems to be realistically passed by say Aug/Sept, I'll just pull the trigger anyways.

My X5 is paid off next month. I had planned on getting a Model Y anytime now, but I am waiting to hear what happens with the tax credit. I can afford it either way, but its sort of dumb to turn down a $7500 credit.
