So the wire became faulty from this, because of the stretching that was happening over time? Did that just short out the sensor so it needed to be replaced too?

Glad no issues so far. UP keeps telling me that my "replacement" springs are delayed indefinitely because of what sounds like supply chain issues. Doesn't make sense that you can just go on the website and buy springs that correct the problems. Also, UP says that the binding noise issue...

I have a detail and wheel repair shop near my house that has completely erased 2 damaged rims just like yours. It was $130. Perfect paint match and blending. So repair is possible and reasonable if it bugs you.

I think this is a very accurate assessment. I am a 3 owner, not Y, but the build quality is very, very average at best. Not anywhere on par with a luxury automaker, but the 3 & Y are not luxury vehicles and I think they draw a bit different consumer.

My 2020 PM3 is currently in Tesla for this same issue I believe. It is currently "waiting for parts".
