That was my thought and I'm sorry I didn't clarify that I would be load-sharing. The sub-panel will never see more than 48 amps combined with the load sharing. I was just unsure if it was alright to pull that much with the romex.

The 100 amp panel will never see 100 amps as I'll be utilizing powersharing and the most it will ever see is 44 amps which is 80% of the 55 amps 6/3 can handle.

Because it's not that difficult of a setup and was seeking advice, I should have clarified that I'll be utilizing powersharing. If anything I'll set the power-sharing to 44 amps and call it a day. Safe for 6/3 romex and won't burn my house down.

Well that's good news as I'm trying to get the full 48amps. Do you know if it matters what size subpanel is needed? Would a 100amp suffice or would I need larger?

I learned that the load sharing has a safeguard that if it were to lose wifi it would limit both chargers until they picked the signal back up. Pretty cool technology. Thanks for the detailed reply as it helps break it down better.

No, if you have a problem with mine go buy one from Tesla, I'm not going to give something away at next to nothing. Just because I got it free does not mean I should give it away as such. I can choose how I wish to sell it, it's called a free market.

Very easy to do, you remove 4 trim pieces total, did not break any clips and swapped the security module and consoles in less than hour and half. If you need pointers PM me.

Just ordered a new center console 2.0 direct from Tesla and it had minor damage to the arm rest. Tesla replaced it and let me keep the old one. The only noticeable damage is to the armrest (see pictures). Other than that this is brand new. Asking $750 shipping included to lower 48.
