I would say that the slider for adjusting the fan was a bad idea. Feel like it’s less safe than before since I’m now messing with the slider rather than just tapping a button real quick.

I have been using a touch less car wash since the spring and no issues on my Y. Not sure if Tesla did something to correct the issue or the wash place I use doesn’t use the type of soap that causes the problem or not but so far so good.

State of charge doesn’t seem to be an issue as this happens no where close to 90%. I’d say I’ve seen happen lower than 50%. Pretty sure I was close to 30% once and saw it happen.

I live in Denver and make frequent trips to Summit County. I’ve noticed that on our way back to Denver from the mountains-there is always a time where I loose a bit of regen along the way. Just wondering what the loss of regen could be from? We have a 3 and Y and happens in both cars...

Yea. It think most people are going to be shocked that in order for any car to do vehicle to grid-some “stuff” needs to be done to the house and just won’t work out of the box.

They don’t have “hidden” fees but at least in Colorado they don’t pay all of the taxes that the state collects so the amount you have to pay to register your car will likely be higher than other cars. Pretty sure I had to pay around $3k at registration.

The regen takes a day or 2 to get the hang of but I would say no one would notice riding around with someone that drives a Tesla everyday. You never just take your foot off the accelerator as would cause a jerky experience.

I have a 7-seater and all current mats will fit the first and second row. Haven’t seen anything yet for the 3-row nor the trunk area. I personally bought the Tesla all weather mats and can confirm they fit perfectly.

Yes. The second row slides forward and then tilts up a bit to allow access to the 3rd row.

You know-I’m not sure. What I did actually to contact someone about my delivery was to google the number of my service center/delivery center and then hit the delivery menu option.

I’d call the Tesla main number and when you are at the menu-hit the option that says something like “delivery/pickup”-it might be 4. Someone will pick up and you can chat with them and they can give you updates-probably assign a new sales advisor.

Sure. Here is that plastic piece that kept falling off while I moved the 2nd row forward to get to the 3rd row. It’s a plastic cap at the end of the rails. The fix was to tighten up the carpet around that part of the tract.

There is a calibration time. The autopilot icon should have some sort of progress meter on it. If it is calibrated then you hit the stalk down twice quickly to engage autopilot.

I suppose there are some issues now and then but I really don’t think it’s as high as you think if you are on the forums all the time . We have a 3 and know 4 others with a 3, one with an S and another with an X and none of them have had any issues with paint or build quality. The cars are great.

I never received a Email confirming that I had a VIN. If I didn’t check I would have never known until a week later when I got a text to schedule delivery.

I received a VIN last week and was just was notified today that my car is being shipped to the Littleton delivery center. I scheduled for 3/23 but was offered as yearly as 3/22. LR AWD/White/black/20 in wheels/ no tow hitch/7 seats/ FSD. VIN 142xxx

How do the all weather mats fit in the 7 seater? I asked Tesla support and they said they don’t offer 7-seat mats yet but not sure why the current ones being sold wouldn’t work with the front and second row.

Colorado detail seems like a very good place in Denver to get things like that done. I’m planning on PPF with them and it includes ceramic coating.

Not sure how it will impact the timing of your car but I would get the color you want and don’t just settle to get it sooner. They seem to be doing the end of the quarter push so there is a chance that your timing won’t be overly effected.

The Tesla site now has a warning that the trunk liners are only compatible for the 5 seat Y and no such warning for the other mats. Anyone out there with a 7-seat Y that can comment on if the existing floor mats available work in the 2nd row?
