I have been checking inventory all day everyday! Very few west coast deliveries! Hoping we see more deliveries and some 7 seat SR cancellations so I can order mine!

IMO Tesla hopefully drops the price a few thousand to reflect the CVAP situation.

What were you told? Yeah I’m not too fond of Tesla right now either .

Nice!!! Regarding the exact pricing, my point still stands . It’s over 10k and it’s hard for me to justifying paying that much for 80 more miles! Just my opinion!

I text my SA often too. I don’t like this uncertainty, wish they would just be honest about the situation. I’m in Los Angeles , I’m hoping the truth is being told and there’s more on the way. They’re probably not wanting me to cancel and hoping I get the LR out of desperation.

I did have one matched but the battery failed on it. So now I’ve been unmatched for the past week, no SR available. Another user also had matched to this car previously. Tesla must have forgotten to flag and remove it from being purchase .

Since early March . No luck :(. I’m using the ev-Tesla site as another source. Nothing.

They did cancel the car lol. The only availability of the SR would be through existing inventory. I’ve been trying to hunt one down for weeks.

MY SR 7 seater was 48k with CA $1500 rebate . MY LR is 60k. what’s the update on your end? Any ViN assigned to you?

I totally agree with you. But I sold my car last week, already had a vin assigned too. Now I’m in a bad position . I’ve tried canceling and they keep telling me to wait. Don’t have much of a choice. Find it hard to justify paying 14k more for LR plus 7 seats :(

My SA informed me more SR are being shipped from Fremont to LA. I was attempting to cancel my order as the only car I’d take is an SR. They suggested holding off for at least 10 days as they think I can get a match .

Do you already have an SR on order? I’ve been waiting for one to free up. I highly doubt many will be available. Still waiting for one to pop up since my order got canceled.

My car was actually canceled due to a battery failure, had delivery date too of March 25th. Got a call Friday. So currently I’m pretty much out of luck on an SR completely. Only hope is that someone cancels their order.

At least your delivery car hasn’t been canceled lol. I’m just going to wait for q2 and pray the SR gets brought back or LR AWD gets a price drop.

Same thing happened to me. Honestly super upsetting . I had the 7 seat SR. Bat honestly This is horrible QC. No way should anyone ever be rejecting deliveries. How often do you go to any dealer and reject a car due to issues like this? Tesla should be held more accountable, if a dealer sold you...

I’m still holding off hope on the SR, although one has already been canceled for me. Just tried matching with another car in Texas but can’t. SA said the car was in “pre production” so I can’t me matched to it. Makes no sense why it would give me the option to even buy online if that’s the case...

They called and let me know. I’m asked out of a car know. No SR in stock .

My SA said there’s plenty more coming within the next 10 days. SR 7 seater got canceled dude to a bad battery. I just think he’s hoping some get canceled. I had asked to cancel my order and for them not to match me with any car.

Update : my SR 7 f”got canceled due to bad battery. Someone else mentioned they were scheduled to receive this vehicle but couldn’t due to battery issue. Now I’m out of a car completely:(. Not sure why it even got listed

Wow thank you! Did you get matched to another SR? I feel like this major incident should be reported to me. The previous car I was matched with had paint issues that were corrected. I was notified and they deducted 1k from the price .

I did have an order before this one. Which was a MY LR but I decided to go with the Sr 7 seats. Being transported from St. Louis for 2k. That would be nice if I can get the delivery fee waived.

I was able to snag a 7 seater SR white with a tow hitch from St. Louis just now. There’s a 2k transport fee. Does anyone know at what point this fee is due? I don’t see it on my loan .

Nvm I see you what you’re saying. I applied since February and I’m car less right now. I’d have to wait till June it seems like for cvap.

It’s 10k actually. 55k total for LR with taxes and fees 45k for SR with taxes and fees. I had the LR initially .

I’m in California so add tax to that and it’s about 9k difference between the Sr and Lr 😰. I only go on a road trip maybe twice a year and the difference on time saved with LR isn’t much. Only saves me about 15 minutes. I’d rather save those 9k.

I applied February 12 and place an order on an existing inventory SR just last week. Delivery is next week. I was told application approval would take another 45 days. That would mean rejecting my SR and risk not getting an SR. I’m just going to eat the cost and give 5k out of pocket. Risk is...

That’s exactly how I saw it too! I’ll be taking delivery next week. Like you said beats paying 10k extra for LR. Other than that it’s the same exact car! Congrats!

I’m also in LA. MY coming from Miami with a transport fee of 2k. Honestly don’t see them bringing SR back, once they’re gone that’s it.

I’ve attempted to call CvAP with no luck. I have delivery of MY SR 5 seater next week. Would suck if I had to push it out and lose my VIN. MY SR will be tough to get due to the Discontinuation.

Wait so you applied 1/21/21 and your application is already being reviewed? Sounds promising as I applied 2/12/21. Good luck!
