My consideration is model 3 has been released in 2017 and Tesla hasn’t refreshed this model yet so they decided to add new features/parts but MY is a new car and they’re ok with the current headlights. MYP is about $10K more expensive so they added new lights to MYP too

I don’t have any source. I’m holding my order because of the updated headlights. I hope somebody can post the new headlights for LR soon.

2022 models may be delivered with updated headlights

I hope they don’t remove other features while we’re waiting the new door panels or headlights.

I believe LR will come with the updated door trims as well as the updated headlights until or just after end of second quarter. If not they may release for the 2022 models.

Are you getting performance or LR? I haven’t seen and LR with the updated headlights. As of now only all model 3 and Model Y performance are coming with the updated headlights.

IMO, they don’t know the difference.

Tesla adviser told me model y headlights are supposed to be updated by end of June but to be honest he is not sure.

Do you know that the build date?

I believe April/May built Y’s will come with updated headlights. I haven’t seen any April built yet.

Only MY performance and all Model 3’s are coming with new headlights. I’m waiting new headlights for MY LR.

I’ve seen many March build LR(only performance comes with new lights) with old headlight. If someone has with the new lights please post.

I will get my MY LR on wednesday. My VIN is 139XXX ane build date is 03/12. I hope i can get with the new headlights

I believe LR models will come with new headlights begining from April or May. My delivery date shows date March 15-25 but doesn’t show any VIN number yet. I will probably wait for the new headlights.

I went to delivery center today and LR’s are still has the old lights.

I’ve been to delivery center today to check the LR MY and it had still old lights. Advisor told me that only performance and the europe deliveries are getting the new lights. VIN was 144XXX

My delivery dates was between March 12 to 25 but now it shows 2-5 weeks. I will go to the delivery location at the weekend and check the headlights for LR and performance. I hope i can get the new headlights.

My MY LR has been scheduled for delivery on March 12-25. I hope i can get with heated steering wheel, new console and updated headlight. My VIN hasn’t been assigned yet. Any idea?
