When I get back in my car, Spotify plays a few seconds of a song, then stops.

Already tried that. Also tried reboot while logged out... neither worked

I don’t have the app open on my phone, just logged in through my car

When I get back in my car, Spotify plays a few seconds of a song, then stops.

I’ve never had an issue before the last few weeks, gotta be something else causing this. Song starts to play then the song/album image goes away on gauge display and touchscreen, then Spotify goes blank and stops playing. Seems like some connection issue with Tesla.

Nevermind, I tried Spotify created playlist and it did the same thing... so it’s not a problem with my playlists

Ugh, mine is my liked songs playlist. Would prefer not to mess with it, so odd

Either of you figure this out? It is also happening to me, I tried logging out of Spotify and logging back in, that didn’t work. I don’t have my phone connected via Bluetooth, just logged into Spotify in the car.

Alignment Specs Needed for 2013 P85+

I’m probably the least mechanical on this forum, any help appreciated! My vehicle was in an accident and after repair they took it to be aligned, not at Tesla and these were the results... looking over what @zwede posted, should I have any concerns? My car is a 2012 Model S Signature P85 Thanks...

Value of 2012 Model S Signature P85 w/out working battery

So final update... I picked up my car yesterday afternoon and the final cost was as follows: Charging to 100% last night got me to 256 miles, an improvement of 38 miles from my old battery. While at the SC I requested all diagnostics from my old battery on the several occasions I complained...

Value of 2012 Model S Signature P85 w/out working battery

I did reach out to Gruber, for the cost it didn’t make sense in my opinion. At a minimum it would have been $4495 + cost of transport with no warranty. If BMS repairs were needed add another $795, if modules needed replacing add $1895 per module. That is unknown until disassembly and cell...

2012 Model S P85 Battery Replacement Receipt - sharing is caring

Update: after dealing with this for a few weeks now, I was told this morning that there are no new 85kw packs and my only choices for a new pack were a 75 (for $21k with same 4 yr/50k warranty) or a 100 (which would cost more and they would have to verify if it would even fit). Since my car is...

Value of 2012 Model S Signature P85 w/out working battery

I’ve been speaking with the Service Manager at the WPB SC and he supposedly ran it up chain of command to Regional and higher and they are unwilling to do anything besides the $3k goodwill adjustment off the $15k remanufactured battery. Says my battery complaints and the battery needing to be...

Value of 2012 Model S Signature P85 w/out working battery

Range, charging both at home and SC (which I rarely do) at 250 kw SC rates were 35 kw or lower

Value of 2012 Model S Signature P85 w/out working battery

Unless something else goes then I’m sol. I was 2 months out of warranty and had been complaining of battery issues for 6 months+ and I was hoping Tesla did the right thing and did a goodwill replacement, but they won’t

Value of 2012 Model S Signature P85 w/out working battery

Per Tesla a remanufactured battery will cost me $15k and that is why I’m exploring other and all options

Value of 2012 Model S Signature P85 w/out working battery

Looking at all options and trying to estimate what I could sell car for if I don’t replace the battery. Car has 68,061 miles on it What do you think? Thanks in advance!

2012 Model S P85 Battery Replacement Receipt - sharing is caring

I wasn’t told $20k for a remanufactured battery, I was told $15k with $3k goodwill adjustment, making it $12k. I will ask if I can get a brand new battery with the $6k adjustment and get a brand new battery for $2k more

2012 Model S P85 Battery Replacement Receipt - sharing is caring

A NEW Remanufactured Battery, if it was brand spanking new the decision would be much easier, but they tell me $20-30k for one of those

2012 Model S P85 Battery Replacement Receipt - sharing is caring

@TwistedGray why your car but not your money? Was it in or out of warranty? I’m trying to decide if it is worth paying what Tesla is asking to replace my battery that is out of warranty as of 12/03/2020... they tell me that my battery complaints over the past 6 months or more have nothing to do...

Service says $22k for new battery on 2012 Model S

So I did ask the SC Rep that I spoke with if I wanted to pay for a new pack instead of a "remaned" pack what the cost would be and he told me $20-30k, maybe the price they gave @badpenny was for a brand new pack

Anybody care to estimate cost to replace battery out of warranty?

My 2012 S P85 that I purchased as a CPO in June 2017 with 42k miles on it now has less than 70k miles on it and after having it towed to Tesla 2 weeks ago because it wouldn't charge past 45 miles and giving me a bunch of errors from Maximum Charge Rate reduced daily etc. I was just notified from...
