That’s the $1M question… I’ll try during my next service appointment, even though that isn’t until mid-October. I could’ve made one sooner, but I wanted cooler temperatures to improve my chances of the sound being replicated during the tech ride-along.

This seems logical, and it could help explain why in some cases a complete drive unit replacement doesn’t resolve the issue if the DUs are systemically coming out of production with the oil underfilled.

Much like @SK360, I updated my car to 2021.4.12 and the problem persists. 😕 For now, I guess I’ll turn off the sleep settings in TeslaFi and let it remain idle when connected to the charger. Or, I could go the sentry mode at home route... Hopefully this will be fixed soon!
