You dont have to do financing until you get your VIN number or even set a date to take delivery. It will not influence your delivery date. Also, sometimes when you're doing a trade in they will lock you to the "pay Cash" part. Just call your service center and they will unlock the finance/lease...

my guess is that a delivery center next to you is cleaning/prepping the car. You can probably stop by and chat with them. All the cars I've seen are wrapped in factory vinyl and arrive at a service center where they're cleaned, buffed etc. Just talk to someone there, they can track down the VIN...
