Tesla got me in to a service center today, and the cause was that connector in the photo that i origianlly posted - most likely the same issue as @glide They needed to pull the whole bumper to connect it. Thanks for weighing in everyone.

Update: Tesla service is terrible. The chat function in the website is a runaround. I sent a message through the app and they stonewalled me. I'm on the edge of making a bbb complaint. This is infuriating
