I’ve read about range comparisons of wheels with and without aero caps and it can be significant. The aerodynamics of the TSV, Induction, and Uberturbines are likely the cause for efficiency gains which more than offset losses due to larger wheel diameters and widths.

4 is the month and 21 the year

I had my order on hold since Aug of last year and called to begin the delivery process April 9. SA said I would likely get it in June. But I got a VIN on the 19th and was schedule to pick it up on the 21st. Much faster than I thought. Sticker on the door has the manufacturing date of 4/21.

After further review, I believe MY max tongue weight is 350lbs. The 120lbs is referring the hitch rack weight limit Tesla offers as an accessory. So, you can’t hang more than 120lbs on Tesla’s bike rack, but if you buy other bike racks or platforms ans don’t exceed 350lbs, I’m confident it...

This is bumming me out. I have the factory hitch on order and was planning on being able to transport 4 ebikes but the low load limit of the hitch makes that basically impossible. I guess I’m going to cancel it now since I really didn’t intend to tow. Thx for the help and info from everyone...

From some vids I’ve seen, the TSVs might be more efficient than the Geminis—which would just be a win win. Your set up looks great. Did you get the 9.5” wide? And do you know if the Tsportline logo on the center cap can be replaced with a Tesla logo? Thx.

Thanks for the heads up on the stamping of the load rating inside the rim. I was on the fence about going with the 19”-8.5” wide TSVs but your experience will likely help me take the plunge.

I also got in touch with TSportline customer service this week to ask if their 19” 8.5”wide TSV’s would work on a MY. They simply said it wouldn’t fit. From photos I’ve seen posted online, the 8.5” TSV’s fit fine—and I’d prefer that width at the 35mm offset vs. the 9.5” wheels they offer at...
