Norcal: Powerwalls In Storm Watch Mode For Several Days Now?

I’m in Davis and my Powerwalls have been in Storm Watch mode for the last several days. I assume it’s related to the wild fire risk and PG&E public safety power shutoff program, but hasn’t the risk mostly passed? Haven’t heard much talk about it in the news.

[V9 issue for owners with small kids] Why is no one talking about this glaring software emission?

Seriously, Elon and team should stop wasting time with self-driving and focus on things that really matter. Think about this... Who sits in the 3rd row? Kids. So why doesn't fart mode support the 3rd row? We know there are speakers back there. And before you thumbs down me, this is (half)...

    2019.8.3 Navigate on Autopilot Review

Just got 2019.8.3 last night on my Model 3. I've not been a fan of NoA or HW2+ in general. In past releases, I was delaying or cancelling majority of lane change requests. And then dealing with a lot of phantom braking and hesitation. But man, have to say, 2019.8.3 is pretty darn good. Did a...

A New P100D Ludicrous is now $15,000+ less than what I paid for my P85D Ludicrous!

Paid $135k for my P85D in 2014, plus $5000 for Ludicrious, $500 for LTE, and $1250 for Center Console = ~$142k. Now a P100D Ludicrious with AP/FSD is only $124k. Amazing how much Tesla has been able to drop the prices. Makes upgrading a little more tempting, but planning to keep the P85D...

Autopilot on HW1 now better than New Autopilot on HW2+

With the recent changes to Autopilot options on HW2+, we can now definitively say that Autopilot on HW1 is better than the New Autopilot on HW2+. Traffic aware cruise control and autosteer are standard, but Autopilot on HW1 also has automatic parallel and perpendicular parking, and summon...

Photography: Anyone else see parallels between Sony mirrorless cameras and Tesla?

Any photograpy fans here? Sony has really disrupted the digital SLR market with their mirrorless cameras in recent years. Better cameras at lower prices. Game changing technology that no one else bothered to think of. Canon and Nikon are struggling to catch up. And now with the upcoming A9 and...
