    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2013

They will not recommend something until there is enough data to support the recommendation. I bet the performance in the Washington FIRE sealed the deal for them.

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2013

While it is unusually quiet here today pre market I would like to say something for I usually just observe. I would like all the key players here, Citizen T, Dave, Kevin, Mario, tesladopt, fluxcap, et al (yes I missed some of you)to know that their posts, opinions, insights etc. are...

    Q3 2013 results - projections and expectations

Don't you think that if the public sentiment/perception about Q3 production was getting wildly out of hand that Musk would tweet (within SEC rules) something to tamp things down. It is not in Tesla's best interests for the public to be expecting way more than he knows they will deliver. Somehow...

    SA: Institutional Investor Shift?

For what it's worth: One of the guys who won the Nobel Prize in economics today did research showing that the average individual investor cannot/does-not (can't remember which) succeed in the end. Ha! I think this thread is full of above-average individual investors.

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2013

Good for you! It's funny, I'm into the "could buy 3" territory and sometimes feel more nervous now than before Q1 ER. I'm not a big sedan, nor SUV guy. Gonna be first in line for Gen 3 though!!! I have also been following this thread for months and a some time back sent out a THANK YOU to all...

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2013

Congrats to all! Partial 10X for me. Was in at 19-20, but went ALL in just before Q1 ER. - - - Updated - - - Yeah!. Did the same thing. Sold my SCTY holdings to invest in Tsla options. I'm not touching my core TSLA holdings unless something obvious changes things (example: suddenly reports of...

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2013

$30 X delta X #of options Say the $30 rise was in one or two days. Should the deep in the money leap always appreciate more than out of the money calls with same expiration date? If so, why would anyone buy a, say, Jan15 call near the money. My apologies if I'm sounding stupid. - - - Updated -...

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2013

OK, but what if that rise of $30 happened in one day and you want to sell them? I wasn't implying that it was up $30 on expiration day. Today, for instance?

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2013

Can somebody help me out with something regarding LEAPS? I ran some numbers buying the same dollar amounts of Jan15 calls with strike prices of 130, 200, and 250 and with an increase in the stock price from today of $30, and using the listed deltas as multiplying factors. My numbers after that...

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2013

There is a 50-50 chance that a flipped coin will turn up heads or tails. There is a better than 50% chance that Tesla continues it's climb. Most of the risk has been rung out of this stock.

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2013

This honesty, un-pretentiousness, and the feeling that I am not being "sold" are big reasons that I have been a fan from day one. What he said is true.

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2013

Hi everybody. I've been reading this forum with much fascination for some time. Thanks for all the knowledge, you key players know who you are. Decided to take some profits off the table and get into options. I purchased my first call this morning right before the run up. Ain't Tesla GREAT...
