Anyone have preferred settings on the 20" inductions? I have a kid in a car seat, and it can get quite uncomfortable at these settings on freeways.
I'm currently at set by my installer. Looking to make some adjustments after a few thousand miles on the setup. Ride height is at 742mm all around...
[In reference to the wheel gap on my Model Y Long Range] 🙂
My goal of purchasing the Mountain Pass Performance comfort coilover kit was 1. A ride better than stock and 2. A lower ride height to fit the 20” inductions better.
I feel I was able to accomplish all of the above with their kit due...
So this has been happening for a few weeks on and off. I normally wouldn't notice it until freeway speeds. I went to America's Tire and they found that the wheels needed to be balanced. That worked for about a few miles then it started again! Super annoyed, since this only happens at 65+. Tesla...
I have a black Y, took in the first week for full PPF and ceramic coating.
I would only do front + rockers ppf + ceramic coating on the rest of the car if I purchased any other color.
The goal was for no swirls, scratches, etched water spots in the paint... Washing this car is so easy, less...
Well not completely, just a cover from Ali Express. Shipped to CA $50, 3M tape to stick onto the existing wood dash trim. The color is Black, not gray which is ideally what I wanted, but will go with this until I can find an exact match of the Alcantara fabric at a reasonable price.

Its super easy with the caliper covers. Just take the wheels off and its just one screw with the cover.
As someone who has BBK's on previous cars, I LOVE how these look behind these wheels.
Purchased from RPM Tesla.
Its super easy. In all painting, prep is key for an easy clean up. Its black plasti-dip, sold in Home Depot for like $7.
If you screw up, you can just peel it off (as long as you have enough coats, it'll come off easy)
Brand New, never used. Paid $55, selling for a quick sale.
I was going to use this to wrap suede/alcantara to cover the wood dash trim, but decided against it.
Item was purchased from AliExpress here is the details...
I was able to refinance my chase to DCU for 1.24% @ 65 months within a week of getting my car. I refinanced for a different reason (change from business to personal on the title since Chase wouldn't refinance it for me.
I'll go through the checklist tomorrow since I'm too excited to point out any issues at the moment. High level, the rear hatch gap looks good, it came with just 6 miles. They dropped off the car in a parking spot near my house and I got access to the car via phone. Pretty freakin' awesome...

Window keeps shrinking, End date hasn't moved for awhile. Hope that keeps me for EOM delivery still.
I have a hard time picking between front PPF + ceramic vs. full car PPF... I know this isn't a lambo but I'd hate to see scratches/haze start to appear after a few years.. my local shop says its about a 2.5k vs. 6k estimate
