I had to buy one myself. Warranty didn't cover it.

Vendor GiroDisc 370mm Rotors for GM Brembo 6-Pot Calipers

They may be close, but the mounting tabs are missing on the UPP calipers. The back side has thicker parts with a hole for the bolt to go through and mount to a bracket instead. Keep in mind that the monoblock body could have slight variations inside, piston sizes can be different, or the wall...

Vendor GiroDisc 370mm Rotors for GM Brembo 6-Pot Calipers

Not sure I'd want to make that area thinner on a crucial component. We ran into this issue with Volvos running Porsche calipers. The mounting was just too tight and slotting the mounts risked failure. If you want a caliper to handle the 390+mm rotors you'll need a different caliper that can...

I hear ya. I picked up a 2014 "beater" for home improvement/landscaping/beach shuttle duties. It's turned into my next project (to my wife's dismay). Now I really know what it feels like getting 14mpg.

M3 Long Range, Which All Seasons?

Cross Climate 2s for non performance all seasons. Pilot Sport or Conti DWS06+ if looking for more dry grip at the expense of snow grip. Wet grip seems to be comparable between the two.

I believe Emotive made their track kit include the Corvette calipers, which have dimpled pistons for better heat management, along with track specific pads.

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Apparently. I also saw that and was intrigued. Website says it's fully forged. Then again, Jova gets us fully forged wheels for cheap.

    M3P All-Season Setup?

No option for 255. I just selected the track package wheels (245s), and the speedo was close enough.

    M3P All-Season Setup?

MP3 isn't traction limited even on the mentioned AS tires in this thread. I've tried many times. Lateral grip, OTOH, will not be as nice as summer tires. However, winter performance tires will also not be any better outside of snow. You shouldn't be pushing the lateral limits at high speed in...

    M3P All-Season Setup?

Plenty of threads comparing the AS4 vs the DWS06+ tires. 235 or 245s will fit fine. 265 for an A/S tire isn't that great for winter driving compared to the other 2 widths. I ran 255/35/20 on my car, though Both tires are A+ in their categories with VERY little difference.

These inserts are supposed to reduce wear on the factory bushings, right? That reduced flex should help out in that dept

FS: Pirelli Sottozero3 Winter Tires (3 tires) 235/35/20 for Model 3

I have 3 winter tires for sale with plenty of tread left. These have 2 winters worth of use on them. One tire was plugged from a nail puncture in the tread, but it holds air fine. Since they're not mounted you could patch before mounting easily. 4th tire was damage beyond repair. Asking $200...

Tire Recommendations for 19x9.5 wheels street and track no commute

-1 to -1.5 of camber will not wear your tires prematurely. Aggressive toe will. Proper camber will give you the traction you need and preserve your tires for aggressive driving. This is especially true for a heavy car like the Tesla. For a hybrid street/track setup, get 265/35/19 Michelin PS4S...

I destroy my wheels when I drove over potholes!

MA resident here with 20s and 19s riding through the greater Boston area all the time. Get plus sized tires (255/35/20 and set your wheels in the car settings to the track package wheels -your speedometer will still be accurate) or downsize to 19s to gain more sidewall. I ditched the stock...

HepaKing Alpine carbon fiber DP series series speaker / subwoofer set review

Haven't yet. I can't tempt myself too much, cause our house build use getting out of hand, and we need to budget for that now. I also have a truck that needs some work. Glad to know these are available for our cars though. 1200 for these is pretty good. What did they charge for shipping to the...

    Best All Season Tire?

I put 25k miles on my Continental DWS 06 Plus (255/35/20), and the W logo is still visible (though probably will wear through them in 5k miles or so). They've served me well in the past 2 winters, but 2022 was mild. In the 2 years I've had them they got me through about 6 moderate/big storms...

That's why l left it 1" higher than I would've liked with 1.5 finger gap. I have about 4" or so of ground clearance, so I probably made the right decision. New England isn't slam friendly. Already scrape some driveways in the city, but damn that extra 1" drop really makes the car look so good.

Alternative tire size for M3 20 inch wheels

255/35/20 is probably the widest I'd go on 9" wide wheels. Track package specs the 245/35/20 Michelin tires on the ZeroG 20x9 wheels. So, you have a bunch of options between 235-255 width tires for factory wheels. FWIW, I run 255/35/20 all seasons on my 20x9 wheels, and the handling is very...

Fender trim garnish - Anyone ever lose one randomly?

I think hydroplaning through a puddle knocked mine off. Went to dinner Saturday night, and it was there when I came back to the car. Drove home in the pouring rain, though a good-sized puddle before sticking to the left lane to avoid more of them, and the next morning the fender trim on my...

Model X price cuts- yet again

I get that the features lacking in the X are an issue. It's actually absurd they took away USS while not having an alternative to replace it ready to go. Aside from that stupid decision, it's still a nice car. However, there are times cars that lack features compared to competitors are still...
