I just did this a day ago; no change in price for my car, thankfully. Barely drove it during that 30 days (maybe 100km) jus to keep things ticking.

1 - good luck with that. When I came to Canada my bank hsbc didn’t know who I was despite being a customer with them for 20+ years abroad. Couldn’t even get a credit card without putting 100% of the limit down up front. Took years to build solid credit (now around 840-860, 13 years later)...

Wild guess. They never had this many cars backed up in a non delivered state, which in turn broke some table limit or process functions somewhere whilst they did a bulk change for vins. I’ll keep creating my own narrative in the absence of an actual communication department :)

Right, my thoughts too. Maybe they could do an Extra long range model y and charge more. But more likely to begin with (1yr+) I expect we’ll see roughly comparable specs.

Real world charging dynamics, regardless of what they end up doing will be interesting to watch too. It won’t be boring that’s for sure.

In a model y, I would expect them to put less battery to begin with. Keep the spec similar and run both at the same time so they don’t obsolete the existing production line immediately. Just my guess. It’s what I would do, to maximize potential output in a battery constrained scenario

Nothing firm. No vin yet but SA today advised to expect the vin within the next week, and then delivery within a matter of days. I’m guessing there are some extra shenanigans related to tow hitch. Website currently says 6-24june, has said may pretty much the whole time since order on April 16ish.

Pretty much exact same behaviour for Montreal delivery too. Was 8-24 may, now 5-9wks from order (ordered A week ago on April 16). blue, white interior, MYLR with hitch & stock wheels.

Similar experience here as a full time employed person. No documentation required, just a credit pull I imagine.

Except without a instrument cluster, normal wiper controls & someone correct me if I’m wrong but also indicators?
