I ordered mine having only seen a few on the streets - no test drive or even seeing the interior. Ordered 8/13, delivery 11/13. I could have done a test drive in Marietta, Ga (16 miles from my house), but I wanted my first drive to be in my car. No regrets.

Aha! It took me a minute to figure that out also!

I charged for 2 hours @ 110/12 with no problem. Then I plugged in the HPWC. Started at 242V, when it got to 80A it was at 237V. The breaker tripped in about 30 minutes. I set the amps down to 60 in the car, and the charge completed. The breaker switch felt a bit warm right after it tripped...

Charging now on UMC @ 110. No problems. I will start the HPWC at 7pm when the rate goes down.

This HPWC has bee in use for about 5 months with no previous problem. The Circuit is 100A and the dip switches are set for 80A. Car also set at 80A.

OP's opinion doesn't bother me. I got the P85 because I wanted the accelleration. I didn't get P85+ because I don't use the full accelleration (except in straight-line demonstrations). I'm happy with what I have and lucky that I could pay the $10k extra without worrying about it.

Originally ordered S85 switched to P85. two years ago I thought I would order a 40. However with superchargers, only an 85 should be considered. I commute 3 miles each way - 10k per year. P85 for me. Loving it, just passed 1200 miles.

It would be great if there was one SC within range of Atlanta.
