I'd imagine insurance will only pay more if you had their explicit permission to go to Tesla for the fix. I'm more interested in how you managed to crack your windscreen Friday and have it fixed today??? I'm still waiting since end of April for Tesla to find any windscreens!

Are there any national 'visit the house mobile repairs' that people recommend or is it just using local repairers?

My neighbour was looped from us and Western Power did all the unlooping work on both properties for free. We didn't contact them direct though - the charger installer liaised with them - wonder if that makes a difference? Took about 4 weeks from start to finish.

Well each to their own, and I never thought I'd say this, but I just love our new M3 with it's near silence and weird little noises. It's like owning a landspeeder.....
