I use a single 1up rack and it clears the truck with no issue. When I need to carry two bikes I just bolt on the attachment.

Yea the rapid flashing of the turn signals was annoying me more than the fault messages.

There is one other issue I have too. With the rack in the upright position (no bike) I frequently get fault messages on my screen of a sensor blocked or dirty. Then after a while I will get a Park assist unavailable fault and it will shut the whole system down. I know the rack is doing it...

My Tesla OEM hitch is a class 3

I believe the 160lbs limit is do to the vehicle and not the hitch. Also that hitch you mentioned has a 525# tongue weight limit. That is much different than vertical limit. I also carry 2 e-bikes but I remove the batteries to keep me under the limit

The Vertical load limit of the Model Y hitch is only 160lbs. Vertical load limit and tongue weight are different. So with a dirtbike and carrier you will be way over the hitch limit. You are better off getting a small trailer

You can use and drive the vehicle while it’s downloading. It will just pause the download. But you can not use it while it’s installing. That needs to finish first

I’ve noticed with these vehicles if they are going to fail big like this it’s going to be very soon. Like before 5K miles. It seems once you have hit the 10k mark your normally trouble free.
