Random question - does the back windshield come tinted?

I just got a reply to the June delivery text I received on Tuesday. Looks like they are trying to centralize scheduling deliveries.

Exciting! Are you doing any tinting on the front/windshield? I'll definitely post pics... would feel a lot better about all of this if an MVPA would show up.

For those who just got a VIN, is your MVPA showing up yet?

Well, it finally happened. I have a VIN!!! 216XXX Estimated delivery June 29-30. No delivery scheduled yet.

I called the delivery group (option 4) and said I ordered in April, received a text that I would receive my car in June, and today I’m showing September- and asked if he could look into it.

Just got off the phone with Tesla Marina Del Rey (automatically routed there) and wow, what a better service level! He took the time to look into my account. Apparently I’m soft matched to a vehicle in production with an estimated completion date of June 29. He said it could take up to 2 weeks...

…and I’m back to September, no VIN.

if you do a home delivery, you don't have to be there to accept. I'm sure you have to send the paperwork back within a certain period, but that may give you enough leeway.

I feel like your 6/14 early date means that your car may be built today. A lot of us moved to a 6/15 early date, which I take to mean: It could happen any day, but not today. The next two weeks should be exciting!
