Just drove by, still not online, but since the last pics posted it looks like they installed a couple modern looking parking lot lights along the chargers

The Starbucks that was being built across the parking lot is now open. The hours are listed as 5am - 8pm providing a decent amount of availability for not only coffee but bathroom for an efficient SC stop!

Yes, they usually aren't planned until they're open though. There's been some discussion around potentially doing something for both Danvers & Gloucester as that hasn't been officially welcomed yet either.

Just stopped by and there were 2 techs from Tesla there with one of the cabinets open working on it and the other tech looked like he was going from charging pedestal to pedestal doing some work as well. I asked if it was going to be online today and he said probably not but soon (and it'll show...

We have a meter! It looks all that's left is for Tesla to active the site. I plugged in and it got connectivity but no juice.

Stopped by this AM to check on it and a Gordon tech was on-site. He was there today with a couple of the cabinets open. He said the site has been ready for a couple weeks and he's supposed to to be meeting there today for the town inspection (!).. then it's just putting on the meter. So this...

Light poles are in. Power has been run down the pole to the cabinets... still no meter. So close!

Correct (just checked), no new wiring has been run yet up to the new poles. I'll keep.my eye on any changes on that front as that'll likely be the most telling sign they'll be lit up soon probably.

Still no meter. They're cutting the one tree down behind the cabinets today. They did asphalt repair last week and over the past week they've been running the new power lines on the poles that head down towards the Starbucks. Half the time the bucket trucks are taking over the charging spots...

Meter box is now attached to transformer... but the meter itself is not installed yet.

Transformer is in! Charging only signs are in and the bollards around the transformer have been painted/covered. There were two electric trucks on-site when I was there earlier today so more work is actively ongoing. I'll do another checkin tonight/tomorrow AM to see where they leave off today...

More power still getting pulled over to SC location...

Looks like all wiring to pedestals is complete and the fencing is removed. No transformer installed yet unfortunately, and no Magic Docks... I did however have the town electrical inspector at my house this week and he mentioned they had/have to upgrade the power going there but didn't provide...

All 12 pedestals installed as of today and some of the wiring has also been completed (2 spools now empty are onsite). Close(r) up of the plugs to confirm they're "just" the regular connectors. No transformer yet on the pad. Progress continues.....

Have no fear, the porta-potty was getting a good cleaning today when I swung by! 🤣 About half of the pedestals are installed and all the cabinets are installed now

And all equipment is on site, cabinets still in their white wrapping and pedestals all boxed up... getting closer!

Concrete is all poured, no sign of additional cabinets or the charging posts on site yet....

Not to much going on lately except more prep with a rock layer going in for the concrete pour. Also an additional pole went in next to the existing ones, TBD if it's for the SCs, the Starbucks, or both.

Ready for concrete! Also there's new pour molds for parking lot lights above the chargers (you can see one here) and the switch cabinet has been unwrapped.

Slowly but surely it's moving along...

Lots of trenching happening today (for both the Tesla Superchargers and the Starbucks. All electrical for Tesla will be underground... but also one thought on the light poles it could either be above ground power for the Starbucks or potentially light poles. We shall see!

Those poles were not there before, but have been there for a couple weeks now. I'm guessing they're for the Starbucks that's just also started excavation on the opposite end of the parking lot

Nice! I could see the tall pallet from the road on my way out of town yesterday early afternoon but haven't been back yet. Glad you could take a peak! I'll be sure to keep a closer eye on it now as things progress.

We have fencing! And off to the right in the grass it's marked "Gordon". Progress! Thank you drone cam from the comfort of my home, lol.

Wait til the Danvers one comes online! We have municipal electric and it's very reasonable. I'd hope Tesla will set the prices there appropriately.

Prob just parked since Danvers is a municipal electric and has their own town branded trucks.

LoL, it's a good thing I didn't know about the meeting until after it was done. I would've attended and probably said a few words about said transients, lol. The Starbucks will definitely have a greater impact on the lot then the chargers... and I do think they underestimate how busy that...

haha, in my town so it's caught my attention more than others... though I'll never need to use it :p. Also, they did mention in that zoning board hearing that they're goal is to be in and out even before the Starbucks breaks ground so my bet is on the fall too. Did I pass you on 62 near that...

Minor update: the electrical permit has been submitted (8/2/22), still pending approval.

Same status as yesterday. (I was in the area, figures I'd stop by for a quick peak!)

Finally picked "Beast" up last Wednesday in Peabody. The blue is beautiful and I'm kinda happy I went blue vs MSM since that's now been added to the "free" color options. First long and overnight drive is this weekend to CT to visit some family. See you out there! :-)

Bought a new 18' Gen3 Wall Connector right before they replaced them with the 24' ones. I could use the extra few feet. Anybody in the Boston/Southern NH area about to buy a Wall Connector and do not need the extra feet and willing to meet and swap unopened boxes?
