I ordered mine in April, would love them sooner but my only real deadline is when they start salting the roads in winter, so I’m not too pressed. There was one big delay announced in May, but since then it seems like things have been on track.

Thanks for the tip! I’m not sure what the cause was, but I restarted my phone and toggled the “optimized battery charging” setting on my phone off and back on, and one of those things seem to have fixed it. My apologies to Tesla for ever doubting them.

Used chademo adapters sell for more than retail usually, because they’re never in stock on Tesla’s site. If it’s just for a trip you could ask around in your local Tesla owners Facebook group, and if you want to buy you should just call every Tesla service location you can (that was my method).

I ordered the white for visibility and cost (the lamest reasons), and I'm not really into red cars, but the tesla red looks awesome. Just a touch classier than other red sportscars, in ways I can't articulate. If there wasn't an extra charge for red it would have been a much tougher decision.

Now it’s back to plain boring May 17-June 4 (no VIN, so there’s no way May 17 is happening but who knows!). Once again reminded that every goofy anomaly on the order page is just a goofy anomaly, nothing means anything, the Tesla will come when it feels like it.
