After some googling, I think the LR/P come with mats, but they are carpeted mats. The amazon ones are all weather, so I guess I'll stick with that.

Counter point to your order dates being worthless... you were one of the lucky ones date-wise. People in mid to late march only recently started getting their cars too. Giving advice based on your date only is a bit misleading... that is why there is a spreadsheet to track trends is important...

Yeah, from what I've researched, most people said one or two features of FSD are neat, but are they worth the current price tag of $10k? No way. Go look up some video reviews of the FSD features and decide. Autopilot will be plenty for me until we see some drastic improvements.

I think you probably chose cash instead of financing. You should still be able to check it by going to Tesla SSO - Sign In where you replace the X's with your reservation number

Yeah, all the people here that got their M3's seemed to be mid to late march =( Don't think I saw anyone mention April... let alone close to my 4/14 order date. Maybe next wave.

Nothing forcing you to use the features though. If you are worried about it being too much of a beta right now, if you feel it will be less of a beta in a year or two, then start using them at that point. Unless you don't actually need a new car now. Then waiting makes more sense

From what I've read, changing your order puts you back at the end of the line. Kinda like a fresh order, but you've already paid the $100 reservation fee. You can always ask your SA though

Doesn't the insurance step not matter though? From what I've read, as long as you have it sorted before delivery which you should have a VIN before, everything is good.

Does that say 95k? A new 2021 model 3 performance is only 66,990 with FSD, plus whatever delivery fee there may be. Before I did research, I was like you and planned to never buy new again. The Tesla was the exclusion, not because I wanted new... but because the price difference was so small...

Also consider that the 2021 new models have some interesting improvements that may be worth the couple of extra thousand. Heat pump being the most interesting to me, with a huge performance increase when using heating/cooling. Note that the efficiency will go down if you live in a super cold...

Maybe true, but keep in mind the long wait time on actually getting your car.
