I haven't. Based on previous shipping schedules, I wouldn't expect to see one until early to mid August.

I've heard some conflicting information if the public can use any of the Tesla chargers behind their store. I see what look to be private Teslas using them once in a while and I know for sure the International Marketplace ones are okay to use. Anyone have insights?

15 is the standard mileage they list to make things easier for them (i.e. the don't need to look and input it at delivery). More often than not, it's less than that. I had about 5 miles on mine.

Congrats on the find! What was the base price on the SR prior to them merging it to your existing order? Curious if it also took the $500 increase the LRs saw last week.

If it's the exact same specs as your original order, your SA should be able to "merge" the orders and honor the lower price. The only thing you'll be out of is the $100 order fee.

That's true. At the moment, the only way to get one is to find an inventory car. Not easy, but there's been a handful that pop up weekly.

My prediction is that they'll eventually do the same as the model 3 and release a SR (maybe call it a SR+ for consistency) with a partial premium interior and no rear sway bar. This would only be done when there's excess capacity.

Just have to get lucky on timing, use EV-TSLA or install that Chrome extension someone posted (sorry - I don't remember which thread has it). They're going to pop up sporadically as these are all individual declined deliveries.

If they're using a car carrier, sometimes they'll wait until it fills instead of sending a couple. That's logistics + minimizing costs for you.

If you manage to find one in inventory, the base price is $43,990.

I think the issue with your order is when it was unfrozen. There was a batch built in early June that seemed to complete any outstanding orders placed when you could actually order a SR. Not sure if the time you unfroze was "too late" to be placed in that production run.

If the inventory car is the exact same spec as what you ordered, your SA *should* be able to merge it into your original order and honor what you paid. There's instances where people have said they've been refused this, but there's more successes than failures. You'd lose out on the $100 order...

I can't seem to find it now, but I recall someone in a MY thread stating that he did the same. Shipping from HI to the west coast is about $1400 listed (I'm sure they have negotiated rates), so it's not like they'd be losing money on it.

This is a stretch, but sometimes they don't wipe the USB drive. You might be able to find some interesting video on there.

The screenshot shows FSD. It can be unselected after ordering to remove the $10k. They don't turn it off if you buy a demo with FSD, those are cars purchased through third parties.

They actually produced a few in early June. Seemed like that was going to be the last run to close out the outstanding orders. Like RedWhite19 said, call your SA because there might be something wrong in your account.

Seems like it varies by state. My SC advised that a personal check is okay on pick up. The one item for sure is that no CC over the $100 deposit.

I have a 173XXX that was built in mid April. You should have lumbar and radar!

Minor correction - many (like me) are looking at the difference whether it's the 2170 or 2170L cell. Not a crazy difference, but it's slightly higher density.

Great screenshot! The 55.4kWH is the same as the M3 SR+ pack, which indicates that there's 2170l cells being used.

Not at all. There's a lever on the top of the seat. Fingers crossed that's all it is!

The base for a 5-seater is now $43,490. Used to be $39,990, then it was increased by $3,000 in late April after the initial inventory drop, then it went up $500 about two weeks ago.

Your SA won't be able to assist. It's really up to Tesla if they manufacture more SRs. Looks like the most recent batch was to finish up outstanding orders, though.

A bonus for those that didn't notice, the SR price increased $500 on top of the $3k it went up by last month.

Anytime before delivery. I did the same and your agreement will need to update. It was pretty instantaneous from when the SA removed the trade.

Congrats! That's interesting that they're producing SRs again. What does your VIN start with? That'll reveal what's happening with production.

That's odd because I took delivery of a 173 VIN this past weekend.

About 1.5 weeks ago. Got lucky in finding a SR in what I'm assuming was a cancellation that popped up online. Sadly, I also paid the new +$3k price, but still $8.5k cheaper than a LR. I live on an island, I can do without AWD and the extra battery.
