Does anyone actually have FSD v12 yet?

Like most people here, I'm also not looking forward to the mandatory single push (model s) FSD. I find myself using ACC a lot in LA traffic.

Does anyone actually have FSD v12 yet?

I don't get nags when moving at speed, because I hold the wheel and look at the road. I do get nags when I glance at my phone in its charger at a stoplight, or in bumper to bumper traffic. In my opinion, this is an over correction that should be sorted.

Does anyone actually have FSD v12 yet?

To be honest, I've been really impressed with the 11.whateverihaverightnowsinthechristmasupdate. It's definitely not quite there, but it's close. I'm hoping v12 is a game changer. Have they improved the overly intrusive nagging?

2021+ Model S and Model S Plaid Refresh Issues Thread

I had the 80mph vibration in my model S refresh and it ended up being foam separation in one of the tires. Apparently, there is sound dampening foam that can come loose. Tesla replaced the tire under warranty.

    Autopilot suspension question

Yeah, sitting in bumper to bumper traffic has been a nice break for me with autopilot up until now. There has got to be a way to get back to being able to briefly glance at our photos while stopped in traffic without getting nagged.

Refreshed model S Late 2021 sounds like an old box spring. Service?

Hey Friends, I've owned my model S for a couple years now and it's an absolute pleasure to drive. I'm still in awe of it every time I get in. That said it's now very creaky. It sounds like getting into bed on a very own mattress on an old floor boards. I do remember some noises, but not like...

Tesla replaced my yoke with an updated version today. 👌

Gotcha, you know looking closer at the invoice, this is the part that was replaced. They didn't actually show me the part number of the new one. Wierd.

Tesla replaced my yoke with an updated version today. 👌

Hey friends, I’ve had my yoke replaced twice due to the pealing issue, this time they replaced it with a new version. As you can see in the picture, the new version has a different texture and feels more rubbery. I actually prefer it. In addition, the haptic feedback feels more clicky that the...

    Noted! Thank you guys!

    Charging on a 6-50R on a 30a breaker.

I had a licensed/bonded electrician install the 6-50 nema 6-50 plug on a 2 wire 30amp line over 10/3 cable. When testing the car, I told him I was getting 32amps, he said it was no problem. Wouldn’t trip the breaker, 10/3 can handle it and it wouldn’t damage the car. He was right, the car is...

Hey guys, I live in the neighborhood and charged my model S yesterday. The valet told me I didn't need to pay for parking while charging my car. I went in and had a nice lunch while I waited for becky to charge to 90%. Nice to have a v3 charger so close to my home.

PSA: Really bad experience with Russian Wrapz in Los Angeles

Hey Friends I feel a responsibility to warn others like me, who think it might be a good idea to wrap their car at Russian Wrapz. Don't make the mistake I did. Going with them cost me thousands of dollars and my 2022 Tesla Model S is going into the shop to repair the damage they caused...

What size chains work for you refreshed model s?

Took the 330 down. 18 is closed and I didn’t want to risk it with the 138
  40. Ryanflynn

What size chains work for you refreshed model s?

Yeah it was chains required up there, I lowered the air pressure to 30psi on the 19s. Kept it slow and it crawled out without issue. We passed a lot of 4x4s that got stuck. Really impressed with the car. Filled the air back to the 42psi and the bottom of the hill and are heading back home.
  41. Ryanflynn

What size chains work for you refreshed model s?

Ah makes sense. We should be good getting out. I’ll drop the air pressure 10 psi, keep it slow and make sure my insurance premiums are paid. Storm coming in at around 11am, so we will leave at sunrise. I didn’t know it was hard to get chains for a Tesla on the road. This has been a bit of a...
  42. Ryanflynn

What size chains work for you refreshed model s?

I was seeing 4 x 4 trucks spin out with chains on, and we cruised past them. Seriously unbelievable car.
  43. Ryanflynn

What size chains work for you refreshed model s?

Yeah, losing the brakes downhill is suboptimal. We decided to grab a Hotel Tonight, and reassess tomorrow morning.
  44. Ryanflynn

What size chains work for you refreshed model s?

    Yeah? 10 or 15lbs lower?
