What does your code do? Does it look at web source code? Are you using Selenium web driver to automate the UI? I did something similar last month using Selenium and checking web elements but since I didn’t have a VIN at the time, I wasn’t sure what to look for.

I think a little more than a few days (but not much). My car was born on 6/24 and it was a 217xxx VIN. Looks like the earliest 214xxx VIN was delivered on 6/21 so my guess these were probably built 6/19 or so.

Are you saying the doors are unlocked? Your app won't show your car till you've accepted delivery on your account (via web). The doors should be locked with the only way to unlock them being your phone app.

Did they give you an updated time frame? When I got my final VIN, it did briefly go away around 10:00 one night (freaked me out) but it came back the next morning (same VIN).

Keep calling. They're insanely busy today (especially Colma). Did you screenshot or write down your VIN? Maybe try calling Vallejo (they seem to be the least busy) and see if they can track it down for you.

Keep the faith and check often today. My dates changed 2 or 3 times on the day I got the VIN (eventually got it in the afternoon).

I was told for the last few weeks that it was for sure going to be a home delivery. Then when I finally got a VIN I was told to come pick it up. Call whatever delivery center is handling it and ask them. I get the feeling they can be pretty flexible.

My thought process was that the odds of getting a car that I would not accept delivery on are super low. Like almost non-existent. Even if there are issues, almost all can be repaired after the fact.

Car showed up earlier than expected and they asked if I wanted to pick up today. Uhhhh...yeah!! Pickup is now today at 3:00!

I wouldn't wait. Call them. I called Dublin first and they told me my car was re-routed to Vallejo (I'm essentially in between the two). Called Vallejo and they immediately set up pickup for tomorrow. I was able to pick the time.

One other point: as soon as I had my pickup/delivery scheduled, the button to submit payment immediately showed up. So maybe you need at least somewhat of a delivery scheduled (either hard or tentative) to get this to show up?

Woohoo!! Picking up tomorrow at 11:00am! Was originally Dublin abut they re-routed my car to Vallejo. A little more inconvenient but worth it to get quick delivery. It’s almost over!!

Oh that’s right…didn’t post that here but on the April West Coast thread. Yeah got it sometime yesterday afternoon (217xxx). Although I lost it again last night, but it reappeared this morning. Still no concrete delivery date yet. EDD is showing 6/26-6/30.

Dublin has told me all along that they would be doing home deliveries so this is odd. I would call them and see. I’m still waiting for my delivery confirmation.

I just looked back at your post history and see you have a 214xxx VIN. Mine was produced today (according to SA) and it’s a late 217xxx. I’m pretty sure VINs are sequentially produced so I don’t see how a 214 could still be in production. That VIN is still showing on your account?

One interesting note is that I was NOT promoted to accept Tesla Vision (i.e the Blue Button). The VIN just appeared. I’m assuming this is because I had already accepted with my first VIN from a few weeks ago that was subsequently taken away? 🤷‍♂️

Historically September (or whatever the current EDD is for new car deliveries) has been temporary and usually not a bad thing. It's either gone back to what you were at previously or sooner (not always...but sometimes).
