My MXP came with a faulty mobile connector/charger. It's the on thing I didn't/didn't think to check at time of delivery! Had mobile service come bring me a new one - they are sold out on the website anyway (not that I'd have paid at this point!)

You should be able to open the inside and inspect prior to accepting and/or paying. I went through the checklist inside and out prior to clicking "pay"

If you are getting a loan through Tesla financing, you have to have accepted the loan terms in your account. Once those are accepted the payment options for down payment etc should be available in the app, and you can link your bank account.

Or even an actual delivery date (not date range) given all of the chaos

In a crazy sequence of events my car is now ready again for pick up tomorrow 🤦🏻‍♀️ First CS agent told me they had no idea why or when or how it would be ready… “it’s not ready because it’s not ready” Called back at another number and Fremont delivery reached out saying they are physically...

I'm not planning on submitting final payment or signing docs until I have had a chance to take a thorough look at things.. I think this is a reasonable way? If I accept delivery on the spot, I assume I can pay instantly with ACH through the app.

What does your delivery location say on your account? They did not specify for me whether I was still confirmed at Fremont vs. delivering to my home address. Is there a way to tell?

Picking up at Fremont, live less than an hour away. Unsure about LR as have pre-price hike, but cannot see where I would need 2, nor would I have the bandwidth to buy and re-sell.

@niogyn @Miyakudude Spoke with Fremont delivery center just now… They confirmed that my car had arrived at the delivery center and was still awaiting “final inspections” VIN 1/11 …so basically no real information or delivery date Chances this continues into Feb/March?

While I sit on hold with the Fremont delivery center... My original EDD was Jan 19-23 and has since progressed daily to currently being Jan 22-26 UPDATE: Fremont customer service could not get anyone at Fremont delivery to answer the phone... must be too busy delivering X's

I called today to see what they'd (Fremont) say... basically he couldn't wait to end the call and said "i don't know, check again tomorrow?"

My Plaid order was 20” and still got a VIN right away. No FSD either.

I am in a similar situation. My EDD keeps changing to the current day as well (i.e. Jan 20-24) and I am waiting until the very last minute to decide on finances as the quick turnaround has made things a little financially precarious. I still have the much lower priced LR on order, but really who...

My EDD said October for a week or two before going to TBD and then VIN.. so don't lose hope of the randomness!
