FWIW, I did not upload insurance (in TX which required a VIN to update insurance) and it did not impeded my delivery.

I was emailed a .pdf of a signature page, printed it, signed it, snapped a photo and emailed it back. I did not have any software installed on my device to e-sign and there was no integrated DocuSign option.

Re: wire issues, this is why I used the Plaid option to move cash. I had asked the Tesla folks which option was easier on their end to receive the money and they indicate Plaid over the wire option. I do know that some do not like entering their banking account login info into the Plaid UI.

I am in TX, which required a VIN. I left that blank until i received the VIN, it did not affect my delivery. Hopefully that helps.

Did you turn on all the navigation features in the menu? Mine were all set to off when i picked up the car and didn’t realize that until I parked the car for the night and started going thru all the menu toggles

email, to call to delivery date all within @20 min. I use USAA, so applying for a loan and updating insurance took 10 min and was done between the email and the phone call. Just happened to fall on my lunch break.

Yes, i am guessing I am getting a car that someone was not able to pickup. From blank to pickup car tomorrow in 20 min. Getting thru all the paperwork and money movement was painless tho. It was email notification to phone call to scheduling all very fast.

Posted this in the other thread. Got a vin just now and I am scheduled for delivery tomorrow out of Plano SC. Holy smokes this is unexpected.
