Thankyou for pointing out the huge gaps anywhere between Werribee and Hamilton. Also huge gaps between Nhill and Hamilton. In those small countries towns without an EV Charger you may have 3+ servos you do get some odd looks but it is getting better than it was a few years ago.

I’m very interested in Tesla insurance but insurance is a highly regulated field so it might take times for approvals in all the different jurisdictions.

Mine is almost 3k. I imagine other country people will be in the same boat given the amount of driving we do. Let’s hope whatever the commonwealth cooks up doesn’t smash regional and rural drivers as hard as this abomination did.

Moorabool, Melton, and Whyndom City Councils is my current bug bear being the biggest population growth in the country but the most under-invested in terms of local infrastructure (at least according to the local labor Fed MP). Of those three local councils there is no Tesla Super Charger...

I have no doubt the highest taxing state in the nation are already scheming their next way to tax us.

The Federal Labor Government has already said they wont be pursuing a tax on EV's at a Federal Level. I believe this was reported in the Guardian on Thursday.

With the Greens holding the balance of power and huge majorities, I wouldn't think this would occur.
