Once the VIN comes in, things can happen pretty quickly. I had my VIN 3 PM on Friday and they wanted to drop it of to me the next day in LA.

They ask for the documents from the bank providing the financing. I had to move my date from yesterday to Monday because Bank of America doesn't finalize loans on the weekend. MVPA was only available Friday at 6PM EDT. Here's a screen cap of the text they sent me AFTER delivery was scheduled...

I'm in Santa Monica... but the plot thickens. The MVPA only became available late Friday and BofA doesn't process loans on the weekend and can't finalize the "Truth in Lending" paperwork until Monday. Tesla wont hand over the vehicle without it so now rescheduled until Monday.

Just received a text that my M3 has arrived and they can deliver it today - a change from delivery tomorrow. That's 24 hrs from VIN to delivery. What a whirlwind process. Do nothing for 75 days and then do everything in 1 day!

Incredible how everyone has a different sequence for finalizing the process. Mine was VIN > Pay Downpayment (Plaid) > Finalize Insurance > Schedule delivery.

Great heads-up on this one. I thought "loan" was what you chose oly if you wanted financing through Tesla. Instead I put cash since I am getting financing through BofA at 1.6%. I just contacted my SA who updated my order to financing. He input the amount financed and what my downpayment...

Finally reached out to my SA who told me what it says in the EDD 24th to 30th... but followed up with have your financing ready for the 29th. Need a decoder ring with this communications process.

I went from a EDD of 7-10 weeks yesterday to June 18 - 29 this morning. I feel like this cat trying to nail down a VIN and EDD.

EDD for the past two days has gone back to 7 - 10 weeks. The EDD on the Tesla site has never been credible. Holding out for two more weeks.

I am a BofA customer and received a discount. You should check with your bank or credit union if they offer any discounts to existing customers.

I was quoted 1.64% from BofA for 60 months.

Why does Tesla even have an EDD on the Account page? This thread has 451 pages documenting the fact that it is totally absolutely meaningless. Everyone here is trying to read the tea leaves but there is clearly no logical pattern at work here. We get them when we get them.

My SA is also David at Santa Monica but I think he transferred to Malibu. I asked one of the other SAs what the real timeline was and he said end of June. I haven't asked my SA.

Exact same config and ordered the day before you 4/12. I'm also in Los Angeles. I show the same EDD 7 to 10 weeks. On Friday the Sales Center in Santa Monica said to expect end of June....
