[Web app] What does the option codes for your car mean?

Nicely done, cameronr! Thank you! I merged your pull request, the site is now up to date.

TeslaLog.com - Your hosted Tesla Data Logger - Announcement / Support threads

All the options in "Reports" take minutes to show or won't show at all. Also the battery SoC and other data is not showing. I suspect it might be some corruption or error in my data (Car ID: 150)?

    Front tow hook

There is a towing hook in the dual motor vehicles as well. In fact it's in the same place in all the Model S versions. I had to call the Tesla service phone this winter when I needed to be pulled out of the snow and he said it was located under the carpet in the frunk. I told him that there is...

    Model S Paint Codes

I made it by crawling the web site and brute forcing to see if there's any hidden colors. Didn't find any, but at least I got some pretty illustrations of the car. It's easy to change the equipment in the illustrations by changing the option codes in the url I got it from.

Improved Trunk lighting - Is there demand?

These are some great lights. Really brightens the footwells. But the color temperature is way too cold compared to the interior light in the headliner on newer cars. Do you plan on making some with matching kelvin?

Sorry for the inactivity. I have updated the US options list now, will hopefully get to the UK and NO ones soon.

TeslaLog.com - Your hosted Tesla Data Logger - Announcement / Support threads

After pulling my hair for way too long today I finally got a json of the current options list, pricebook-3.5_MS_US.json. All current (and I believe previous) options are listed in that file. The site in my signature is now up to date, at least with the US configurator. There are some country...

Looking more into the code it seems I can update the options decoder with some work. Regarding Ludicrous option codes. BP01 = Ludicrous Speed Upgrade BP00 = No Ludicrous BR01 = Range Upgrade (90kWh) BR00 = No Range Upgrade

Yeah, that's my page, sorry about that. I took a quick look under the hood of Teslas design studio yesterday but could not find the json file I used previously to get updated option codes. I could not find it in the source code, and it was nowhere to be found in the traffic between the web...

I tried adding an area in Geo Action, and I find it having some of the same short comings as earlier mentioned - it's kinda hard to know if I have enabled it succesfully or not. Just to make it clear: I think it's a great service and my suggestions are in good faith! I fear the tone of my posts...

TeslaLog.com - Your hosted Tesla Data Logger - Announcement / Support threads

Really love this, I use it multiple times a day! Small suggestion: On the "Functions" page it is not clear whether the set minutes to force climate is registered or not. The "Set" button is not very clear and does not provide any feedback to the user to suggest if the command is accepted or...

Great service! One small bug: On the "Car Info" page the P85D badge is linked incorrectly. It tries to show the badge "img/vehicle-badges/p85dplus.svg" which does not exist. The correct badge for my car "img/vehicle-badges/p85d.svg" does however exist.

A Model S caught fire while supercharging in Norway (link in Norwegian)

I wonder if it has something to do with the air intakes being blocked by snow and thus not providing cooling for the battery. This is how my car looked when I parked in my garage after a week in the mountains. The intakes were completely blocked by hard snow.

    EVmote App

Hey Ryan! Thank you for addressing the deletion issue. I truly believe you are without malicious intent. But the paranoid part of me would still like control over the data. Even though you might be a good guy the service and the data can still be compromised by an adversary. And yeah, if...

    EVmote App

I created an account and linked my car a couple of months ago. After a short time I decided to delete my account and thought the warning "You can delete your account, but keep in mind that this is irreversible" meant all the information stored about me and my car would be deleted. Today I...

" Europe and Asia are pending regulatory approval "

Very interesting. Are we sure they are not just beta testers thinking they're free from the embargo of the early access program?

" Europe and Asia are pending regulatory approval "

Aww man! I had my hopes up! It's like being 8 y.o. and on the evening before christmas getting told "Sorry, the calendar was wrong! Welp, hopefully you can open some presents next week!" You freedom folks better post lots of photos, videos and writeups as you recieve the update!

    Model X Cargo Measurements

I converted this from freedom units for us Europeans :) All measurements are rounded to whole centimeters. Rear cargo well, 114x38x46 cm deep, above the cargo shelf, 46 cm to the curve of the hatch (lowest point). 30 cm from back of 3rd row to hatch (approx) at top of seat, 38 cm at bottom of...

    Firmware 7.0 Beta Discussion

The Norwegian who got v7.0 on his S60 non-AP just got a new update downgrading him to 6.2. It seems it was a fluke. Quote in Norwegian: Jeg fikk nettopp en ny oppdatering på bilen ,den gikk da tilbake til versjon 6.2 ,så det kan tyde på en glipp :/

Remote S: Tesla app for Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch

Fantastic app, Allen! I love it! But I found a security "flaw" you might want to mitigate. I did some testing with a MITM proxy set up with SSL inspection and installed my own certificate on the iPhone. Unlike the official Tesla app, Remote S works fine as long as the SSL certificate is...

Delivered on time and in perfect condition. What a machine! BTW my DES told me he was told by the service guys to check if my car had the NG-seats. Tracking P85D delivery thread

Cars destined for Norway are finished in Fremont and shipped to Norway either directly from the U.S. or via the Netherlands. Not reassembled, just moved from one ship to another. It's because we are not part of the EU (and also because there's no import taxes on EVs in Norway).

Very illogical decision on a very logical reasoned company?

I for one am very happy they don't change the price for existing orders when they adjust their prices. If I where to order a new P85D with identical specs it would cost me 14,000USD (110.000NOK) more than I will pay for the one I have not yet received. The Norwegian prices has gone through the...

[Web app] What does the option codes for your car mean?

Thanks mindsweeper! IDPB is Piano Black décor. DRLH is left hand steering wheel in English but is for some reason translated to "høyreratt" (right hand steering wheel) in the Norwegian options list.

Rumor: P85D firmware update to increase 0-60 performance to 2.8s

I've also heard the 2.8 second rumor, but I don't think we will see it in production vehicles. My guess is 2.8 seconds was done when testing the maximum performance. Kinda like with ordinary ICE cars. You can easily gain 10%-20% more HP than stock by simply tuning the computer controlling...
