Apparently its to do with the actual tails themselves, on newer UMC’s the supplied tails are marked 10/15A The older ones are marked 8/12A, check what is marked on your tails?

To clarify, passive entry is when the car just locks and unlocks itself? This works fine with my fob purchased from Tesla AU last month. I initially thought you meant RFID entry, so I pulled the battery out and tested that just now. Both scenarios work as expected :)

My car is brand new (well under 1,000km) so this is presumably why I have received no notification from Vicroads, But I would have still expected to see an odometer reporting section in my account… where is it normally located?

I would find that extremely frustrating, have you reported to Tesla?

Yeah, and im pretty sure it exposed a heap of bare metail behind the tail light, so if it rusts out in the future I wont be overly pleased.

Update on my “Paint” issues, turns out it was some sort of glue residue likely due to the shipping protection, how embarrassing :oops: The rear tail light panel gap was addressed by the mobile service tech in the form of removing the tail light and bashing the body with a hammer, it was painful...

Update on the MCU reboot, service tech advised that logs suggest a communication error between two of the cars on board systems caused it to reboot. He pulled both the 12v and high voltage connections whilst doing the other work and mentioned this can often help with issues like this as well...

My car rebooted whilst I was driving the other day, it was a very unsettling experience. Screen was blank for about 3 minutes before eventually boothing back up and slowley things came back like climate, maps & audio Is this a common thing to occure?

Does anyone know if you can pull power consumption stats from these yet?

I know there are heaps of threads about the Model 3 standard interior audio and aftermarket DIY upgrade kits to enable the inactive speakers plus add missing speakers (rear & sub) Is anyone aware of experienced installers in Melbourne that can have done such upgrades and offer it to customers?

Pretty much ignore your Tesla account at this point, Mine still says the same thing even though I have a paid invoice & scheduled delivery date.

Invoice, VIN & Delivery Appointment for next week all occurred this morning in the space of an hour or :)

Do you have the CT’s on your install? If so, are they wired with a standard cat5/6 data cable? Does this data cable run in the same conduit / holes, etc as the power? (I come from a data background where this is a big no no, but the cable is ending up in the switchboard, so I guess a bit different)
