I’m never surprised to see extended dates on permits. Nor rely on them for actual start or completion dates. Until there is an actual start of construction it’s all vaporware as far as I’m concerned.

Yeah, I vote for Roswell! At least we now have alternating V2s and V3s for a long 1-10 stretch. San Antonio at Fort Worth Pkwy V3, Junction V2, Ozona V3, Fort Stockton V2, Van Horn V3, and now also V3s El Paso and Las Cruces.

The energy graph will show you how much was used for a given leg. That graph is quite informative. I think for us the effect of AC was small even driving in the desert summer heat. Headwinds and speed had the biggest impact. Our long distance driving usually is during hot months.

Don’t forget to set Trip B to a name like Forever and never reset it. We’re at 299 Wh/mi now in our 2022 X LR but it took ~18 months, 17,000 miles to get there. Started out much much higher.

Down here in way south Texas FSDS did very well in spite of not having that many Teslas compared to some other parts of the state.

I have a Model X 2022 refresh with USS. I got FSD 12.3.3 on Sunday with regular software update 12.3.10.

Well my car easily makes it from Sweetwater to Lubbock so I’m not surprised that Post wasn’t originally assigned. I usually add my preferred chargers to a given route anyway.

I’m in the car now. The supercharger is shown there (8 stalls available) but wasn’t automatically assigned on my imaginary NAV route to Lubbock. However I was able to add it to the route.

I actually drove to Harlingen and back today, passing Mercedes each way. Wasn’t looking for chargers though so I didn’t notice.

Different direction for sure. I’ve been traveling from South Texas to CO and generally going via Raton Pass so Sweetwater to Plainview was a recent run. Avoided stopping in Lubbock. Post will be a nice intermediate stop.

I think many of the the NM sites have been delayed 1yr+ waiting on certain govt funding. However that funding has now come through. Whether that impacted the Raton site I have no idea.

Wow! - at least this one has a real permit. That’s very encouraging. There is a long list of NM sites in supercharge.info that have seen no action in over a year or were announced more recently but waiting on NM govt funding related to the Inflation Reduction Act (whatever it’s called).

That one has 15 chargers. And when I used it it was full and there was a wait. I had two cars in front of me. Fortunately my wait was less than a minute and I got full charging speed in spite of it being full. Weekends in SA are super busy around I-10.

We stayed on the Island April last year and caught the successful reattempt on Thursday. But it was so darn loud! - that’s it for us too.

Yet another TX one with no power yet. I guess we don’t know how long this has been waiting for electricity to flow.

There are spots such as Ozona TX that have had transformer, meter etc. installed for almost 30 days still not turned on. Its a mystery…..

Have V3 in San Antonio (The Rim) and Van Horn now, plus El Paso. So not entirely anymore.
