As you stated gas cars get worse gas mileage as well...and they have to stand out in the cold and fill gas. And can't really warm the vehicle.

Math is not my best either. I would need to look in the car if it did not delete the data. Bottom line is that if I let the car precondition before leaving and getting the battery up to operating temperature it did not lose as much efficiency.

I went 20% overall all windows and then went 50% on windshield. Got pulled over for a different unrelated event and the cop never even noticed the windshield. Keeps the car cooler in the summer and just works well with the sun.

When I took my 23 mile drive to work yesterday at -2 that usually uses 9% battery it took 11% instead. I will take that. I had to explain to a few people at work that the battery lasts a lot longer than the media leads them to believe.

No way they make this retroactive. It would cost them a fortune to back pay everyone to a certain date. I believe I have seen enough to believe that the effective date will be the date the bill gets signed...if it ever does.

"Latest" is a tough call. There are different chains of software. It took a little while for me to get my first update and then that included ALL the updates that I had thought that I missed.

The Tailwind is able to be used in multiple vehicles and to buy the vehicle sensor is $20 and you can add it to any car. Cant do that with Homelink.

I have had it on my car for over a month and it has yet to fail to close the door. It has worked perfectly for me.

If the Tailwind doesn't close the door you get a notification on your phone and can reset and close from phone.

Not sure the paint is that bad...but the car is that gorgeous that you want it looking it's best.

They will require an appointment. The mudflats can be done by you in about 5 minutes. The PPF will take a little more, but you are going to have more on your list that will need to be fixed...keep a list and they will do them all in one appointment.

Once you get the car you will consider PPF. In the first week I got a chip on the hood. And I was waiting for my PPF appointment. You will change your mind...I promise.

Have you put in a service ticket? Seems like if you think that there is a big issue that you would put in a ticket and get Tesla to look at it.
