Mine failed just over 12 months with buzzing sound. Still can charge just cannot auto switch between dryer and EV which is the whole point. Customer Service is terrible. I m still waiting email reply since mid Feb. They masterfully hidden their contact number but I found it anyway again no answer.

Mine was stuck only when going backwards all else was working. It turned out to be a quarter stuck in the rail. You shoul observe visible obstacles first :)

Model s panaromic sunroof. Not whole roof is glass. Partially metal I believe. I already found the possible pain points and planning to apply professional grade extendable causing after cleaning the area. However I will show it to Tesla anyway to see what would they come up with.

Wow that's great information Thank you. I guess my only bet to trust the service center as I gave them my VIN to check if OTA upgrade was possible.

Battery dies at 8th year? I think that's the warranty only not necessarily the battery.

I guess technicians here on Ontario not knowing it can be done as they told me my s60 can only handle 75kw battery pack. Also tesla support was misleading as I ask them clearly if I could purchase OTA update to unlock s75kw on s60 model and they said it is doable.

Paying double the price to barely afford to enjoy model 3 is also not pleasant. I would say go with your budget and enjoy the car. Most tesals won't have any issues and battery life will outlast the body. Who knows in couple years Tesla battery prices and 3rd party battery upgrade options will...

I recently bought model s 2014 model and quite happy with it. Don't think too much as you won't find any new teslas with the price range your budget in and model s is much satisfying car than model 3.

I don't think supercharging is tranferrable anymore. I recently bought one in Burlington used from Elite Motor.

I was in a chat with tesla support they told me this is doable and then they took my phone number for a service technician to call me in my area. I received a call and service technician told me it is not doable. I m still convinced.

I think I read somewhere tesla cars body is going to rust before battery dies.
