Front remained oem as there was tread left. Additionally, discount tire deemed 265 40 too big for the front so would've still not matched the rear once replacing the fronts. It's not a mechanical issue rather a computer problem for it not liking the variances in front and rear sizes...

I agree Suny. I recently tried 295 40 21 Michelin AS on the rears, and I kept getting traction control warnings. I reset the tire wheel settings but nothing worked. The drive was unstable and even regen was impacted. Efficiency was also impacted. Went back to oem size and all is fine.

Do not pay to "fix" this issue. It's Tesla that needs to fix this and pay up. They broke a lot of under warranty vehicles with these recent software updates and should not be blaming out of warranty vehicles' computer. Sounds like a class action lawsuit if they can't get ahead of this and...

2023.44.30.1 gave me the APS_w160 error. 2 days later I was pushed the 2023.44.30.5.1 software which cleared the the error, however, Autopilot and FSD fail to engage. Have to wait 2 WEEKS! for a mobile appointment for them to figure out how they broke my vehicle. This is ridiculous 😒

I waited over 6mths (97+ score) and was finally added yesterday to the FSD BETA. Definitely was not impressed. So just a heads up, even if you get in, the "waste money again" statements will remain for another 5yrs or so. =/

6hrs for me. On my 2nd reset (did it twice) the software download no longer showed up from the tesla screen but still shows up at 50% in the app. Oh well, I'm sure it'll work itself out.

The handling on those will be far more superior than a Model Y LR & P and will definitely target to beat MYP in qtr mile numbers. Both of these reasons may force Elon to release an OTA update for Track Mode and also a bump in speed. Or Tesla may release MY Plaid edition.... or they won't do...

Yea I feel like many tesla owners are techies and would love to experience the beta even though it is not a finished product, which is understood with the name beta behind it. It's just unfortunate you pay thousands of dollars and drive safely to maintain a good score and no roll out. Sucks.

Out of curiosity... Edit: Like for like competitor is biased. I feel like there is no real competitor in that vehicle class. Ford Mache GT-Perf is the closest thing but its 10 second max performance keeps it from actually competing on the track.

I agree with that assessment. Not sure if AP has some form of learning curve after the update but I did notice prior version being more consistent.

I've had similar thoughts on this. We should have an option in the future to hit drag mode where the battery allows for even more performance acceleration with the expense of more battery usage.

MYP order placed 6/11 - Original DD was June 26-30 and kept pushing out by one day at a time. Today DD was updated to July 6 - 26th.

Just got bumped to next month :(. Now delivery shows from July 6 - 26th.
