    I think that's in 2022.20

2022 Y Long Range- Matrix headlights?

I mean all of the various upgrades that happened between June, when I ordered, and March, when they made it. AMD Ryzen chip, lithium low voltage battery, heated wiper blades, etc. etc. it ended up being quite a few items. So I'm not going to complain that I got the "old" headlights since I...

2022 Y Long Range- Matrix headlights?

As noted Texas isn't shipping yet and anyway if I had an early Texas car I would have made a big deal out of it. Nah, just picked it up at good ol' Fremont.

2022 Y Long Range- Matrix headlights?

Just to confirm the above I picked up a model Y LR a week ago and it has the old headlights. Maybe they have a good supply of them. Who knows. I got a lot of unexpected stuff since it took so long to make so I'm not going to complain too much. There's always going to be a new thing.

Some 2022 Model Ys shipping with MCU3 (AMD Ryzen)

My understanding is that they are definitely not all sequential "big picture" but all the cars within a batch appear to be identical at some kind of feature level. And then of course add the delay times actually shipping cars to people and they're arriving at all different times as well. But...

Some 2022 Model Ys shipping with MCU3 (AMD Ryzen)

Right? But yeah 402 seems to have all the latest greatest, or at least the stuff I could easily check on the screens.

Some 2022 Model Ys shipping with MCU3 (AMD Ryzen)

402 at the Fremont factory today. Has AMD and heated wipers.

    August Order Estimate Delivery

That's where we ended up being able to get a person when we needed one. Long hold time but very friendly once you talk to them.

    CA Waiting Room

I got a VIN late last night and a delivery link the following morning. So hopefully won't be too long. I believe if you don't want to pay in advance you can just show up with a cashier's check.

    CA Waiting Room

You can find decoders with a quick search. Probably the most interesting part is just before that it will say something like F402 (Fremont, and which batch it's from.). I seem to have my delivery issue sorted (where they wanted to drop it off at my old address) by offering to just collect it...

    CA Waiting Room

So the good news is I got a VIN last night around midnight. The better news is I got the schedule delivery text this morning. The bad news is although I'd had it set to pick up in Dublin even though it's not really convenient the delivery is set up to be touchless at my house in San Leandro...

    August Order Estimate Delivery

Gah! Noted: Don't get hopes up even from a text. Sigh. Mine just went from late April - May back to late March where it had been at some point earlier. I really need to stop looking at this thing. I'm set up to pick up from Dublin, CA, which is a few miles from Fremont so they could squeeze...

    August Order Estimate Delivery

Same kind of thing here. I had zero idea by not having chosen cash from day one I ended up pushing my order out by months.

    a) nobody knows b) don't be shocked if it changes back.

    August Order Estimate Delivery

I got a call about did I have a trade in right after my timeframe went to two weeks. I got super excited before I realized what the call was about, and then it was like well OK I'm close. That was in Feb and I'm back to a full 30 day range starting late April. I wonder if I did a trade in...

    August Order Estimate Delivery

I figure nagging Elon on twitter has a 50/50 chance of getting your car instantly or never.

    August Order Estimate Delivery

Interesting. I have a late June order, but didn't realize my profile wasn't complete since I hadn't accepted the loan, which expired late August. My EDD just got bumped out to late march / April. I wonder if Tesla considers it a June or an August order at this point?

Delivery times of Tesla Model-Y (June-July orders)

Well, that's an interesting question. I was never on a hold. I THOUGHT I had completed my profile but I got approved for a loan but didn't accept it, not realizing that put me in limbo. 60 days later it expired and I switched to cash and I've had it on cash ever since. So from what I now...

Ordered Model Y (did final paperwork) in Sept 2021, but still no delivery, date keeps extending

My June order just got bumped back to late April through May. I'm right near the Fremont factory and I was set at late March for a while but I guess they decided I wouldn't make this quarter so I got bumped back. Which makes me think the REAL date is the end of Q2 at the earliest - so late...

Delivery times of Tesla Model-Y (June-July orders)

My late June Model Y LR order just got bumped out to April 23 - May 21. Order date was late June 2011.

    CA Waiting Room

I ordered in late June and mine just got pushed out to April 23 - May 21. It was March 5-31 the other day. Original estimated date was October 2021. We've installed charging circuits and everything, it's all been ready to go for months. Very depressing.

Delivery times of Tesla Model-Y (June-July orders)

Very similar for my 6/29 order, LR black seats, charcoal paint, WITH tow, had various dates in (mostly late) September then "October" and now it just says they'll contact me.

Just got the FSD as a subscription notice

I've heard a few people comment they want to use it that way and it makes sense to me. Just depends on your driving habits really.

Just got the FSD as a subscription notice

I was guessing $150 and hoping $100 so $200 is a disappointment. Probably still makes sense though versus $10k up front for most people.

A series of unfortunate events led to a negative playing experience buying a Tesla

This definitely makes me want to eat my $100 deposit and maybe check back in a couple years to see if the company is more mature.

Back To The Future - Easter Egg!

"horribly mispronounced" it's not exactly WRONG, but it's not how an American would typically pronounce it. That's what happens when you get an Eastern European technical advisor.

Back To The Future - Easter Egg!

The 1955 service appointment is a nice touch as well.

    Model Y 82kW Battery Pack

Yes, you do, because in context the fact there's an "82" in front of it we all knew what they meant and pretending you don't is a little over the top. I agree it would be nice if people used the right units (my degree is in physics) but at the same time if you knew what they meant calling them...

    Returning/selling MYLR?

I've been seeing comments about Teslas going for more than list because people don't want to wait until September or whatever it is right now.

    Valet Mode

Heh. One of the YouTube channels has some video of a valet navigating a parking garage way too fast and then panicking a bit and hitting the accelerator instead of the brake pedal. As I recall it hit hard enough to do damage to multiple cars.

    0-60 false advertising!

Yeah, I was surprised by that as well. It more or less makes sense after the fact given the lack of shifting issues but in the moment I was really impressed with say the 25-45mph times. Just feels so snappy.
