Ok gents I just looked at the owners manual for my 2022 model S and there is a 12v cig lighter socket in the center armrest. Crisis resolved… we’re good to go for any 12v accessory.

forgot to mention.. worst case scenario there are 12v model s charging instructions available online worst case scenario I can hard wire into that with a fuse and put a inline switch in. I doubt there’s a clean way to pull power in the new S. The old S had a charge port but they got rid of it...

my delivery appointment came and went. Was supposed to get it today but it’s still in Fremont waiting to be loaded onto a truck. Should have it tomorrow or Wednesday.

Ordered the day new model s was announced. Had a delivery appointment for today and got a call this morning informing me the car hasn’t been loaded onto a truck yet. Hopefully will get mine tomorrow or Wednesday
