Hi everyone! Coming from the Model S LR waiting room. Originally put in my S order on 6/29 and still waiting. Decided to save $30k and go with the Model 3 LR again. My last Model 3 was a 2018, so looking forward to some of the nice upgrades!

Congrats! Just put in my new Model 3 LR order in today. Will likely be cancelling the S. I'll be saving $30K now, thanks Tesla!

I don’t mind waiting till June if that means I make out $15k ahead and possibly get new hardware to boot. Not at all. I just save more money every month in my bank account

Haven’t been on these forums in awhile. Still holding my 1/10-2/7 EDD. If I do get pushed back into March/April, what’s the likelihood that Tesla tells people with pre price increase like myself that we have to pay the new price? If that’s the case, then sadly I’m going to order a Model 3 LR.

For the seats. I did that treatment on my M3 and I will definitely be doing it again when I get my S. Makes the seats that much easier to clean, especially if you get any dye transfer or if you have kids and/or pets

I know you're leasing but be careful. I talked to an SA through the NE corporate office and he was looking for an S LR for me and saw two Black/Black in Florida but had flood damage and they were brand new. Not sure what your specs are and not even sure if what the SA was telling me is true...

Update on my EDD being pushed back. Spoke to a Jose like 20-30 minutes ago from the NE call center and he told me some good news...he said I should be expecting a VIN starting Sunday of this week! I am beyond excited but just putting the idea in my head now that it may not happen. We'll see 👀

Seems to be on par with what I heard from my call to corporate the other day. Looks like a batch of Black/White combos will be made around those times

There’s a lot of things to consider with this, like driver comfort settings, charging behavior etc. It’s the same for some that can get better mpg in their cars then others with the same model. The figures that Tesla advertise are based off of EPA ratings, so I imagine they are achievable.

I think this is why they bumped the Model X from October back to June.

State Farm was ok with my Model 3. It was like $1,200/year. Going Grundy with the Model S. Erie just quoted me about $2,500/year 😂

Funny I just asked my State Farm agent. Quoted me $1,590/year. Then got a quote from Grundy at $1,309/year. Used Grundy for my last Ferrari and had nothing but good experiences with them. Free windshield replacements, low $100 deductible and unlimited mileage use

Just call your local SC. It automatically reroutes to corporate now. They changed that like two months ago

Called corporate and got somewhat of an update. He said to expect my car to be produced on or around Dec. 9th and that my EDD is correct to state 12/13-1/2. He mentioned it’s a good sign that my EDD isn’t fluctuating a lot and that I’m likely locked in for a production date. We’ll see

I believe that was for a Model Y if I remember that post correctly. He made it in the Model S tracking thread. Could be wrong

Well I will say that because I have an earlier EDD doesn’t make it true. I could get pushed back to Jan/Feb with a blink of an eye. I imagine we will both get some kind of updated EDD soon…ish

I’m still sitting at 12/13-1/2 with no movement for weeks now. Not complaining but I I’m thinking I should see some kind of movement soon, even if that means pushing me back to next year. Still think I have a good chance in getting my car by EOY 🤞🏻

Double check, because now they pre-select the more expensive wheel option, which lowers the range. Once you select the 19’s, it goes back up to 405 miles.

Means Estimated Delivery Date. I’m going to guess your X just got pushed to an unknown timeframe at the moment. Did you order your X in 6 seat configuration? They are starting to deliver Model X’s for those who ordered the 6 seat or willing to switch to 6 seats for now
