    Big decision....

Hi guys, I bought my 2014 Model S 60 non tech pkg FUSC and free premium connectivity from Tesla (was a service loaner with 12k kms on it) back in Jan 2015.....fast fwd to today, car has 295,000kms on it. I'm getting concerned about the battery pack and drive unit, hearing more and more about...

    Local suspension work?

I'm in Kingston. 2014 S60, spring shocks. Taking minor bumps really rough. Any chance of a local shop being able to get parts? Or am I stuck taking it to Tesla Kanata? Thanks!

    Where to buy 1 rim?

I need to replace one 19 inch OE rim for my 2014 S. Any Canadian suppliers? Places to look for used ones? Does Tesla still sell?

    Replace Rial Lugano rim

Looking for a 19 inch Rial Lugano rim if anyone has a used one, or a cdn source for new. Tire Rack USA has them, but shipping really kills the price, and I currently can't cross the border to get one.

    Cheap TPMS?

Hey guys, I want to add tpms to my 2nd set of wheels. Is there a good source for cheap TPMS that will work without me having to go to a service centre? I need the older style Model S ones. Best price I've found is these...

    Lost a lug nut

Switched over my tires to winters yesterday, and somehow I'm missing a lug nut for my model 3. (stock) Anyone know where I can get one without driving 2 hours to a service centre? Anyone going to a service centre soon that could mail me one? Aftermarket is fine, but I'd like to be able to...

    Scheduled departure epic fail

2014 Model S 60 Just got the update and tried last night. Plugged in at 10pm with battery at 20%, scheduled departure 630am. Walked out to the car at 620am and climate control was on, but car charging at 40% battery. Is this software working properly for others?

    Supercharger - Kingston ON

Is there still something wrong at the Kingston site? I'm local and drive by often, and usually hit the button on the map in my car to see how many people are charging (out of curiosity). It seems to always say only 1 or 2 stalls are available, but it's at times where I know that's probably not...

Are Canadians still getting Model 3s right now?

My buddy confirmed his order 2 weeks ago. At the time it said 4 weeks for delivery, but now the website says end of February. With so many 3s going to Europe right now do you think he is SOL for a other month? Anyone taking delivery of a 3 in the last week or next week? Thanks!

AWD to be about 6500 cdn plus tax

Elon tweeted 5k usd so with exchange that puts it at about 6500 cdn. Same range, and a nice performance bump, assuming real world 0 to 60 is faster than quoted, as it usually is. Not worth the cost for the budget conscious buyer IMHO, but those that want it should be able to get it soon.

    Suspension work....UPDATE

Hi guys, I have a 2014 Model S 60, coil suspension, 120k km on it now, had 12k kms when I bought it. (was a service loaner) Brought it in the other day as it's riding pretty rough when going over even small or medium bumps, but it's fine on a smooth road, no pull, no vibration. Tesla says...

Does Suspension work need to be done by Tesla?

My front end needs some suspension work. I am out of warranty. I don't like paying an arm and a leg for repairs. I am also a 5 hour round trip drive from my nearest service centre. Is this something a local reputable shop can do? Or should I absolutely be going to Tesla for this? Thanks!

Help! Just rubbed paint on my bumper!

Was at Costco loading a large item and then swung the flat bed cart around and dinged my bumper with it. Any special product or household item to get the paint off? I don't think I dented the bumper or scratched it badly, just need the orange paint off. Thanks!

Will model 3 have to learn AP? Or just take data from S/X?

Just wondering if early release 3s will have functional AP? Or will they go through a 6 to 12 learning process, like S and X are doing now with AP2?

    First Hypermiling experience...

I needed to bring my S60 into Lawrence for a new charge port, it wouldn't supercharge at all, and home charge at only 16 amps. Trip was 255km, weather 2-3°C, wet roads, steady drizzle, not sure of wind or wind direction. I don't have tech pkg, so no nav or trip planning software, just my...

Which of these tires should I go with?

Hi guys, I have a rwd 60 and need new tires. I run winters, but these are for summer. I work for Goodyear, so the ones I get a good deal on, and in my price range, are what I am deciding on.... Goodyear Eagle Touring. I think these come on some Model S now, have heard they are very quiet. My...

Is this a common touchscreen issue?

A few times over the last couple weeks, my touchscreen becomes unresponsive. It still rotates the map as I drive, and if I make changes with the steering wheel controls they show up on the screen, but the screen won't accept any touch commands. A reboot fixes it, just wondering if this is a...

Where are ppl buying Cabin Air Filters?

Hey guys, I've been meaning to replace my cabin air filter (I don't do Tesla recommended service, yet anyway). Is there a 3rd party source for these? Are they better quality/price? Does Tesla Service sell them to me as a part? Price? Is there a Youtube video or step by step on how to do this...

Is there a reason service charges my car to 100%?!

My car is in for some work, noting relating to the battery. Slider was at 90% when I dropped it off. As soon as service brought it in they disabled app access. This morning I got an app notification that my car had completed charging and it was at 312km (it's a 60, I know this is 100%...

    Model X Canadian seatbelts?

I just test drove a Model X with the white seats (so awesome), but I noticed the buttons to release the seatbelts were white as well. I thought we were like most countries in Europe and these buttons had to be red. I'm pretty sure they all are in the S's. Can anyone explain? Is your X...

Just got a call for Powerwall...

Company in Toronto doing the installs. Sounds like it's totally turn-key. He's emailing me a pkg to look at. Guessing it's too pricy to make sense, but we will see. I'd be using it for load sharing and battery backup. There was some savings for going with two, as they can share the same inverter.

    X60D currently only $700 more than S!

Looks like a great price on the X60D, currently only $700 more than the S60D. The only caveat is that switching from the 5 seater to the 6 or 7 forces air suspension option as well. Great to have the lower cost option though!

'Driver Only' Unlock leaves the trunk locked...

I'd love to use the Driver Only option, but I usually have a gym bag or my work stuff to toss in/out of the trunk. The trunk remains locked. I dropped off my car Friday afternoon and was low on charge so I plugged into the SC. Forgot to tell service that I did this, and car was still plugged in Saturday. Called them Saturday afternoon and asked them to move it so I'm not blocking a spot, but VT still shows it's plugged in, so I'm...

Tire pressure for 19" Goodyears on my S60? Same for winters?

I have a 60 on stock rims with the GY RSA2 tires. Sticker says 42, my SC says 42, but I know people run at 45 or even 50psi. If there's a range, I would like a nice balance between range, ride comfort, and tread wear. Getting Dunlop Winter Maxx soon on Rial Luganos....same psi? Thanks!

Has valet fee in Canada changed?

Insideevs.com is reporting that valet fees have gone waaay up from the $100 that SCs have been charging. Anyone know if this is true here? I really hope not. When I bought my car, I was told as I live more than 250km away, I would get free valet service. 4 months later when I needed...

Would a P owner be willing to do me a favour?

Center Tray Insert we can buy?

Not looking for a center console, but just something to put on top of the carpet in my center storage area, as I find the carpet picks up dirt like crazy. I'm sure I saw someone's S that had a nice glossy black there instead of carpet. Thought there might be an aftermarket item?

    Just tried DIY Opti Gloss...
