Thanks - I have been in plenty of situations that would qualify - but I feel like something is strange in that I also can't do the auto park summon into the garage. I click twice and it literally does nothing.

I have FSD - but I have yet to see auto park ever appear AND if I try to do the double click in park to have it pull into my garage, it does nothing. What am I doing wrong - or is this all because im still on 3.106?

If you believe that Tesla is prioritizing higher profit orders and you aren't ordering FSD, why wouldn't you order FSD and then remove it once you have a VIN?

It seems many people who just got their VINs are in the 250xxx range. I got my VIN on Thursday and it was 247xxx. Is that strange? Feels like maybe my car was sitting around? Or maybe just traveling across the country? I think it probably doesn’t matter - but thought it was strange.

Wow! Not sure how this all works. And I made a change about a week after I ordered to add the tow hitch. But no one has called me about setting a delivery date - so I'm not counting on it not changing again on me! :)

I got my VIN last nite! Ordered 6/26 and dates have been all over. Of course they want to schedule delivery from August 23-28 - exactly when I'll be on a road trip bringing my kids to college! Hopefully when I speak to them I can make it a few days later.

I was sort of hoping Elon criticizing "Walled Gardens like Apple" would mean he would allow CarPlay. Right now Tesla's UX is more of a walled garden than Apple and any other car manufacturer. He forces me to only use his apps and the apps he allows. not cool.

It's a really good thing Elon doesn't like "walled gardens" like Apple. <sarcasm> Blocking CarPlay and not having a good way to install apps on your car and/or control your own desired interface makes Tesla UI MORE of a walled garden than anything Apple.
