That is cheap tbh. My Mrs gave me the same call last week (The car was literally 7 days old). Our damage is less significant but we are £85 for effectively a down to bare metal and re-do approach.
These ones: Model 3: 2nd Generation Mud Flaps (4 pcs, no drilling, baking finish)
White is outta stock a the moment though. Colour match on the white is pretty damn good. I was pleasantly surprised.
50kW charger and 77kW battery? Maths says that'll take 1.54 hours to charge from 0 to 100% charge.
We are fortunate enough to have a few free 50kW chargers fairly local to us so "topping up" doesn't take long. Would use a SC if I was on a long trip though.
I was 3 working days from "ordering through lease company website" to getting my RN from Tesla. Your lease company are sitting on the order and causing unnecessary delays.
I called "Michael" at Tesla this afternoon about my referral miles. Bare in mind I am leasing my Model 3.
Michael can clearly see the 1000 miles on my account (I don't see then in either the loot box or account page) and says that I won't be charged for the first 1000 miles.
I called Tesla about this and they said that Tusker (The lease company) can request a Tesla account for the Mrs (from Tesla obviously). Called Tusker and they are going to deal with it. Will post back how quickly this is sorted.
My LR was delivered to me this morning. Text said between 12:46 and 16:46 but the dude rocked up at 10:10 which was awesome.
Other than dirty windows there was no issues, though 30% battery could have been better.
Fitted all my wee accessories and am now on my 2nd public (free) charging...
If one is not available to take delivery of their Tesla when Tesla want it to be delivered then that car will be made available to someone else in the ordering process. You may have been lucky in this regard?
I got my RN from Tesla after 4 days of ordering through my work's salary sacrifice scheme. As the car is leased you will not see it see it on the Tesla website under your orders.
My 1st one took so long to arrive (Came yesterday) that I ordered a second 2 days ago so now am gonna have 2 also.
Still, one for me and one for the Mrs.
Sunday was my first day as an Octopus customer after switching over from Igloo Energy. Immediately on Sunday morning I "applied" to join Octopus Go. This morning I got the email to say I was "ready to switch to Octopus Go". A quick acceptance of terms and that's me signed up to Go.
Website does...
You are indeed correct. All my correspondence with Tesla has been through text (and 1 email). I too have leased. Your next text will be from Tesla with a delivery date. Reply to this with your address and they’ll reply with a confirmation of delivery date/address.
Then just play the waiting game.
Tesla chat told me that because I am not the owner I will not get the VIN/allocation correspondence. Your lease company may give you the VIN for reference but it won't be straight from Tesla.
I got my delivery day just over a month before.
Got my R/N text on the 7th July, then delivery confirmation text 3rd August (Delivery being confirmed as the 7th September).
No VIN or notification of being matched a car. That goes to the lease company (Tusker in my case).
I'd assume that my car (Scheduled for delivery to me on the 7th September) will be on the Glovis Summit (Docking in Southampton on August 22nd)? That allows for a couple of weeks for the Logistics of offloading and it making its way up to Glasgow? Sounds fairly reasonable?
I have not received my VIN. Apparently that goes to the Lease company (Tusker in my case). I got my RN on 7th July and delivery text on the 3rd August. Delivery on the 7th September.
Despite ordering through the works salary sacrifice scheme through Tusker, all my correspondence has been with Tesla. Got my R/N text on the 7th July, then delivery confirmation text 3rd August (Delivery being confirmed as the 7th September).
I had the same problem with my "car space" WiFi signal being non-existent. I ended up installing a POE WiFi access point and now can connect to my WiFi from halfway down the street 🤣
A pic for reference:
Unfortunately energy supply is very much a postcode lottery. Also, the "price cap" currently in place is rising by £130 come Q4. The drive for "green energy" is not a cheap one and we are footing the bill.
7600kwh/y? I assume that includes a lot of EV charging as well as normal domestic use?
We used 3662kwh last year but that is without an EV to charge.
I've begun the switching process to Octopus just this week. My current supplier (Igloo energy) changed out my old SMETS1 smart meter a couple of weeks ago to a shiny new SMETS2 number.
Tis a bit of pain having to sign up to one of Octopus' standard tariffs initially then swap onto their Go tariff.
I had a text from Tesla stating my Model 3 will be delivered to my home on 7th September. I would have preferred picking it up myself as it would feel like more of an occasion but as its a lease I guess I don't get a say.
Still. Earlier than I was expecting.
I tried a similar thing last week. I got my RN on the 7th July and when I asked Tesla if they had a narrower delivery window than the 14 weeks I was given when ordering through my lease website; they said for me to ring my lease company and they'd provide me with all/relevant info.
Seems like I...
It was very nice. Strange. The re-gen braking will take a bit of getting used to. Drivers seat didn’t quite go as low as I usually have it but other than that I was impressed.
Not cancelling 🤣
