Build date was 1/10, vin matched same day. My order was not put on hold, just unmatched from the VIN and put back in line for next match.

Stopped by SC today and checked with SA on chip, looks like it has the Intel. I had him un-match my VIN (152XXX) and put me back in queue, new EDD is Jan 27-Jan31.

I agree with this. My order date was August 6, I put a hold on it and released it on 12/19. Got my VIN on 1/10. I do think that those people that put holds to delay in case of BBB all of a sudden released their holds in late Dec and now the surge has pushed orders out.

Just got my VIN today (F152XXX) - car was built today. Called Tesla and they could not provide me with build info, said it takes 24-48 hours. I'll call back later this week to confirm. He also said it would most likely have AMD....fingers crossed.

I'm also in NC/SC (Charlotte Area) - my EDD is Jan 13-Jan 27. LR White/black/no FSD/Aeros. I expect month 1 of the qrt shipments in the east coast gets fullfilled first, then middle of country in month 2, then west coast in month 3. I am just speculating though.

Looks like 139XXX and above gets the Ryzen - congrats xpdveej21. Everyone else please submit first three digits from the last six digits if you've taken delivery this week.

Thanks for the info Carl - looks like 1380XX seems to be the cutoff - if we can get a few more people adding their CPU type and VIN we can get a better idea of the switch to Ryzen.

For those that took delivery this week, did you get the Ryzen chip? This is a huge upgrade. The intel atom chip that always came in the cars was slooowwww. I had it in my 2021 SR+ that i sold in November. I am now waiting for my LR with ETA of jan 7- feb 3rd.

I ordered my M3 LR in August and put a hold on it in sept. so that I could first sell my SR+ (which I did last month). The hold was set to expire on 12/31. I got a text from the SA last week asking if I was still going thru with the LR reservation, I said yes and that I would be moving forward...

For those that are wondering about LFP I would watch this video by Matt Ferrell, it talks about the chemistry, pros/cons and why they are moving in this direction. The bottom line, it should have a very minimal if not indistinguishable impact on SR+ cars. From my understanding, LFP is not ready...

If you buy one from existing inventory and it says est. transport fee of $1000 (for example) then do you still have to pay that in addition to the $1125 destination fee that is tacked on every RN reservation?
