Supply chain issues probably. They ran out of AMD and had INTEL so didn’t want to stop production. I could see them switching throughout the near future depending on chip shortage.

In the near future, updates will be tailored for AMD while intel will be left behind. Intel will still get updates; however, it won't always be 100% of the features. This happened with Nvidia to Intel. AMD just means your vehicle is future-proof until they do another chip change.

No seems VINs just got sent today/yesterday that have intel.

I have noticed M3 don’t have that 1/11 cutoff rumor. Haven’t seen a MY built after 1/11 with atom but multiple M3. Easily can be explained by maybe those who have ryzen only post so our data is skewed. Or (my theory) if Austin will use AMD tesla wants to have both production lines be the same...
