Figured I would update this thread. MYP ordered 6/26, received VIN yesterday and EDD changed to 8/12-8/15.

Honestly I’ve found that none of the employees tend to be particularly helpful via email, I have had all my best conversations by either just walking into the store or calling. I don’t think email is a big part of their job. I could be wrong though.

For what it’s worth, the SA I communicated with who was the most helpful said he saw a “soft build date” of 8/10. I got my VIN assigned 8/11, which makes me think the car was built yesterday and assigned to me today. Spot on. Could be a coincidence but my boy Sheamus might be a seer.

Update: even when you get a VIN, you don’t get to sign agreements and feel like the car is in your hands yet. Haha. Probably going to call my local shop tomorrow about delivery.

Mine actually stayed exactly the same as yesterday. 8/9-8/24. First time the front date didn’t move.

Last week mine changed to “7-9 weeks”, and then the midday the next day changed back to my regular range. I’m currently at 8/9-8/24.

For all the folks stressing about dates slipping or going to a general “6-9 weeks”, same thing happened last week. Adjusted itself after a day or two.

So far the movements mine has made are in line with what the SA told me about an 8/10 build date. I know we all go back and forth about them being full of *sugar*, but he said an 8/10 build date would mean around an 8/15 delivery date which is virtually smack in the middle of what my range has been.
