My insurance policy was updated for the new "year" and brought the old paper still that showed expiration of 8/22/21 and they just took a picture of it and accepted it.

they should be reaching out to you either today or early this week to schedule delivery. It isn't too long of a wait to get a text/email for it.

Update: I actually found a somewhat massive panel gap between the glovebox and the dash trim so I scheduled a mobile service appointment to get that looked at! Should be pretty seamless and I doubt they'll charge me anything because it isn't my fault. After noticing that, I tried to look around...

well i would start checking in the afternoon around 5 alongside your usual morning check to see because i received my email/VIN in the afternoon

i’m really surprised that you haven’t gotten a VIN yet. I would check later today and see if it changes because when I got my VIN, it was around 4 PM

Tinted windows and carbon fiber spoiler! Since Utah is real stuck up about window tint (43% is the legal limit) i went with 35% in the front and 20% in the rear and matched the factory tint in the rear windshield. that is the carbon fiber spoiler (glossy) and i love it! don’t mind the tape...

glossy because it’s a pearl paint but the matte looks really good too!

I bought the spoiler off of RPM Tesla and it’s the Performance Plus Spoiler full carbon fiber molded and I’ll show the picture alongside the tinted windows because it’s currently in the shop getting tinted!

yeah the official "estimate" for it to arrive to utah is like 1-2 weeks, but again, they want to under promise and over deliver. it is nice to hear a manufacturing date for you but i heard it takes 3-5 days for it to be off the assembly line and ready to be shipped out.

yeah the colorado advisor said that my car wouldn't be at the dealership until the 20th but i guess they either ramped up production at the factory to have my car delivered this week or they "under promised and over delivered". still though, they played with all our feelings when it came to EDD

so that is a lie, they can add it anytime, you just have to talk to the "right" person because some are very willing to help and others aren't. Just keep calling back until someone is able to do it for you.

Delivery has officially been scheduled for Saturday, 8/14/21!! Sad I couldn’t pick it up sooner but now the anxiety will kick in!

in theory, it shouldn’t, it’s technically just a software upgrade that they can remove.
